This vintage patio set probably won’t sell for a lot of money… but it certainly has value if you’re looking to extend your retro renovation style onto the deck or patio.
These 50s and 60s aluminum sets, wi
th their folding webbed chairs are so typical of the era. They were not costly investments, but they were very much in synch with the social, unpretentious, egalitarian aspects of the time. This set looks like it’s in great shape, so it’s a good find, especially if you’re around Chicago and can go pick it up. (No umbrella but be sure to check out the super cute little umbrella holder!) Or, if you frequent estate sales, and bide your time, you’ll find one, too.
