Someone’s knockin’ at the door, somebody’s ringin’ the bell — retro Nutone doorbell – today’s ebay pick

Scott, our really nice washer repairman, says that every time he rings our bell he thinks of the famous Beatles song. I think it might be a hassle to install this vintage Nutone door chime, but it is so cool looking, and the vintage… ding dong ding dong, ding dong ding dong… would be such a great way to welcome guests. I love Nutone by the way, see my post on their retro styled exhaust fan – the only choice for a vintage kitchen or bathroom re-do!

I see that Wedgewood Ranch has a blog item on installing one of these vintage door chimes that sounds the same. Be sure to read Chris’ travails. We House Bloggers never give up!

BTW look for a post on washers soon?…We need a new one, argh. Update: Item did not sell.
