Update: Sold fast via the buy it now price of $3,000. Way to go, “calacath”!

I was getting bored with what I was seeing on ebay when…voila!…these appeared…three kitchens’ worth of yellow St. Charles steel kitchen cabinets including lazy susan’s top and bottom, and glass-front cabinets. Oooooh.

Do we have any readers in or around Richmond, Virginia? If so, you might want to snap these up.

Update: The lister says there are 34 cabinets in all, about half and half wall and base.

These photos could almost not be worse — and although the lister says they are in great shape, the cabinets may indeed need a good paint job. (See Stephan’s tips.) But trust me, to retrofit someone else’s kitchen into your existing space is a challenge. Therefore, it’s great to start with a large number of cabinets. You can use the leftovers in your mudroom, garage and/or laundry room - that’s what I did.
