• Vintage Ronson tabletop cigarette lighter – today’s ebay pick

This vintage lighter is so cool… I read some time ago, that with fewer and fewer people smoking, vintage smoking paraphrenalia will become more and more valuable. This sexy piece, mint-in-box, is a keeper!

Nothing makes smoking look cooler than these vintage smoking sets.

Vintage lighters? Hmmm. Does anyone else collect vintage ashtrays? I have about two dozen or so shaped like boomarangs and amoebas! And I don’t smoke. Weird huh?!?! I do have a few boxes of vintage looking candy cigarettes to put out for parties. I’m such a bad influence, ::sigh::. Someday those vintage ashtrays are going to be worth tens….yes TENS of dollars!!!! Ooo, except for my Sascha Brastoff which is already worth tens of dollars.

Ronson was really with it back then. There was an entire line of decorator cigarette lighters. How about the “Can-Do?” That was the can opener with multiple attachments for mixing, knife-sharpening, etc. And the butane candles with the adjustable flames. I wish I had all of these. What ever happened to Ronson?
