Hi Pam,
I just want to thank you for the great post a few weeks back about Kroehler furniture. I set up a search on Ebay in case something good popped up in my area and this weekend I won a great Kroehler bedroom set from the 1960’s at a very nice price. My son and I picked it up today and it is spectacular! I would never have thought to look for this brand is you hadn’t mentioned it.

Congrats, Kimberly, and what a nice son you have, too! Remember readers, to keep an eye out for names like Kroehler, Drexel, Lane, Ethan Allen - and the many very nice, high quality brands from our now long-gone local department and/or furniture store.
Bedroom sets and dining room sets, in particular, can be stupendous deals!
Thanks for posting my great find,Pam. The pictures really don’t do it justice. It’s gorgeous in person and I was so lucky to find a set with a queen headboard since so many from that era seem to be full size. I still can’t believe I won the whole set for $255. I’d be lucky to get a bedside table for that amount these days if I purchased new. I’ve been keeping an eye out for a nice vintage slipper chair to finish off my bedroom so I will add the brand names you have provided in this post to my search. Thanks again!
