50s time capsule: Seattle Julie sends us today’s incredible home

Oh my gosh, Seattle Julie is THE woman of the week of the month of the year of infinity, for sending in this fabulous home-for-sale listing from the Alki area of Seattle. A biggie at 3,300 s.f., it was built in 1957 (peak year!) and this is the first time on the market in 47 years. Not too many words needed here, pardon me while I sell all my worldly belongings and my children so that I can go live in this one.
I’m crazy for cupolas.
Yowza basement.

Ok, so the divider thingy is very strange.
Even the foyer is breathtaking.

That is the trend here as the original owners move on.
I remember at our closing the realtor told the owner that we were not going to make any changes to the house cause we loved it as it was.
(The realtor told us we needed our head examined)
Wow! Perfect house. Did anyone else notice that vintage kitchenaid dishwasher in the kitchen - that model is bulletproof and will run forever!
What was the listing price on this? Just curious.
The selling price was $747,950 which was maybe $2,000 off the asking price. And it closed in only 23 days (that means an offer came in almost immediately). I agree that this has to be one of my favorite all time houses too. Can’t get over the aqua counters and orange teapot - perfect! Anyway, thought you’d like to know (I’m a Wash. state Realtor and I looked it up - had me curious too!)
