I enjoyed all the pictures, but the kitchen is the one I love the most. Wow! It reminds me actually of the kitchen of one of my older aunts back when I was a kid.

Naaah. You don't have to clean pinch pleats very often, like every 5-10 years. Just vacuum them very lightly every now and then, and be careful not to choose a pattern that shows dirt ha ha. That aside, I certainly understand wash 'n wear. I am very into slipcovers for that reason...and apologize if I slipped into dogma!

Hey Pam thanks for posting. It's really a lovely little house, I can't imagine why it hasn't sold. And you're right, the formica WAS cool, it was little squiggly lines I think, and had to be original. What doesn't show in this picture was opposite the sink in the kitchen, there was a washer/dryer built in with cabinets fitted around it, exactly matching the others, so I'm sure it must have been original as well.

Hey, my kitchen has the same hardware on the cabinets! :-) Cool pictures ... it's fascinating to see some of these homes that have been seemingly frozen in time.
