It takes my breath away! The space itself, the fireplace, the blue, the clock, and those beautiful windows and patio beyond! I think we all should have a 50s/60s style potluck here!

It looks like limestone to me, Sue. At first I thought it was those roman bricks too, but when I looked closer, it has the variation of colors in limestone. I live smack in the Indiana limestone belt (and I work at the state geological survey), but I'm not 100% sure.

Aren't those walls and that fireplace spectacular, though? I'd love to have a kitchen like that.

I love looking at this house. The colors and mood are both warm and cool at the same time. Also, it's spacious without being cavernous. It has a human scale. I love it.

Oh, is that brick forming the fireplace and kitchen oven area the roman brick people have been writing about recently, or something different? It looks good with all of the laminate.
