Lovely shade of pink. I love those towel bars in pink.

I am taking to him about the tile. Having two large retro pink bathrooms with floor-to-ceiling tiles that I am renovating makes the tiles very necessary. Nice guy; he’s sending me a one of the broken ones as a sample.

B&W Tile does not have the Bubblegum pink I need.

I would love to get the toilet, too, but don’t think its feasible. I can probably find that here.

We just bought a mint vintage 1950’s set of a yellow bathtub, toilet and sink in an auction off ebay. It’s the second bathroom we’ve managed to use recycled fixtures for in our vintage house. I hope someone out there saves this adorable pink one too!

Have you sold this set yet? We are looking for the pink sink exactly like the one pictured. We have a pair and one of them has cracked.

Sam, these were for sale on craiglist a while ago. I just featured them here for everyone to see. Try your local Re-Store/Habitat for Humanity, deabath.com, and historichouseparts.com….You’re gonna have to search, but these are out there. Good luck.

I am definitely interested in this set. Is it still available. Thanks, Debbie

I just saw your reply from the first email. I will follow your leads. Thanks so much. Debbie

looking for a 1950 vintage mint green toilet seat for my new (old) toilet. Also, I need to have the beautiful mint green tub resurfaced, anyone know someone I can contact?

I am also looking for a Mint Green Toilet Seat! Help Me!

  10. Lois says:

Kory…I believe I saw somewhere that you can order your mint green toilet seat from either Home Depot or Lowes. I haven’t ordered mine yet since I haven’t taken possession of my new 1950s home. You can also check out colordirectseats.com. They say they have many, many colors and hopefully they’ll have mint green.

I also saw on one of the websites that there is also a seafoam green bathroom. Now I’m not sure if mine is mint or seafoam. I’ll have to check it out further.

Good luck in finding the toilet seat. Leave a posting if you find it. Lois

Hi Lois. Sometime very soon I plan to start cataloguing the exact color-names of bathroom fixtures by various manufacturers. Reader Arne – who is wonderful – has just send me some great scans of vintage American Standard marketing material to get started with. So stay tuned.

Help! I am desperately looking for a mint green wall hung or cabinet mount bathroom sink to go with my 1950’s retro black and mint green bathroom. Can anyone help?

  13. pam kueber says:

Karin, you’re just going to have to hunt. See the forum – http://retrorenovation.com/forum and watch your local craigslist and Habitat for Humanity/Re-Store.

I need some pink Stylon bathroom tile and also some pink mosaic floor tile. Our house was built in 1960. I did find a pink bathroom sink to replace the white one a former owner installed. Do you know where to find old pink Stylon? Thanks so much. I want to restore my pink bathroom.

  15. pam kueber says:

Jackie, for the plastic tile go over to the Forum and you can put your listing there and see what else is up. http://retrorenovation.com/forum. For the floor tile, see my Flooring Fast & Easy page.
