Jen, interestingly, I believe I've seen a fabulous porcelain enamel 'mop sink' available from Kohler. I always thought this would be great for a mudroom for those with doggies to clean!

Pam, didn't you post one time about drinks from the 60s? I remember brandy alexanders being (in the 60s) the premiere "girly" cocktail. My mom dated a guy who ran "the Chiave Club" in our little town (little did I know he was mob-connected!), and I used to go there with her in the afternoons where the bartender would mix me up a light Brandy Alexander.

In the same vein, a grasshopper (made with creme de menthe and a lovely shade of green) was a popular girl drink. Then there was the ever popular martini, tom collins, stinger, screw driver, and sloe gin fizz. Other tiki drinks: Singapore slings, mai tais (as previously mentioned by Tikimania), and scorpions.

OMG! I went to college back in the early 80s in Lenox! We went to Luau Hale all the time. That was my first taste of Asian food--well, the Americanized version, I'm sure. The Pu Pu Platter was to die for!

And the puppy is TOO cute!

AH I LOVE IT! Its funny, I just got this Perfect Chair from officedesigns.com and its so comfortble, but MY DOG is always sitting in it. My wife always puts a chair on it before we go to bed because we wake up and he's curled up in it!
