		<description>Yes, Maureen, I have seen a newer elliptical wood plate with a place to slide the stem of your wine glass into so it hangs off the plate. But these are just right for our 1956 ranch.... I only wish we had 20 more, so we could use them when we have parties!</description>

		<description>How interesting that things that go around come around!  I saw something like this featured on the Steven &amp; Chris show (see: http://www.cbc.ca/stevenandchris/index.html ) except they were made of white paper/plastic and nothing would stay on them!  It was a great concept but just didn&#039;t work!  It was hilarious to watch the tv hosts try to show how they worked!</description>
