We recently purchased a home with this blue set…all original, however, our sink faucet is molded as part of the sink, it is not an attached fixture. Does anyone have any info on this model?

I just bought this sink from a salvage yard and need to find out if it can be wall hung or does it need a cabinet to sit in? Any suggestions?

That one — with hudee rim (Search the term on this site) — sits in a countertop. It also requires clips, as far as I know. See our Category Bathrooms/Readers’ Bathrooms for lots of photos of this type of installation.

Thanks for the info, I’ll have a look!

I am trying to save my blue bathroom sinks! How do I touch up rust spots?
Janet says
I’ve heard that cream of tartar/vinegar sometimes works. You’d have to google to find the recommended amounts of each. Good luck.

We are purchasing a mom with a blue sink, tub and toilet in the master bath. We are going to keep them and clean them up but are looking for ideas to finish the rest of the bathroom. I need help…pictures would be great. Thanks Sara

Faye – where are you? I’m outside of Phila. Have a vintage 50’60’s Homart wall sink in powder blue. About to tear out the bathroom.
Anyone for a matching blue tub?
I just stumbled on this site – very cool.

I would like to find a blue toilet tank in good working order,. I have a blue toilet, lavatory & tub. My tank got cracked and I want another one to replace it. It is a Silhouette toilet and the tank # is 3457. Does anyone know where I can find one of these? Mine looks a lot like the one above.

I have been admiring this set since I 1st found this site a few months ago. After wanting one like this for several years now, I just recently became the proud owner of a similar one! The sink is a porcelain/steel with hudee ring in a white w/gold flecks laminate cabinet instead of wall mount, but the tub is the definite star! I love this site and thank you for inspiring me to do the retro renovations that I had before only dreamed of!

I’m in the minority for sure. I have a similar fixture color in my 70s ranch house bathroom and I can’t wait to rip them out! For me, that color does not belong in a bathroom, especially not a small one.
We’d love to give our tear outs to a refurbishing center, and may do that with the toilet and sink (the tub is only a fiberglass surround style). They could be made ‘new’ again, but for us their time is long past.
For those looking for retro/vintage fixtures in the Portland area, not only is there Rejuvenation, but also The Rebuilding Center.
