I have been admiring this set since I 1st found this site a few months ago. After wanting one like this for several years now, I just recently became the proud owner of a similar one! The sink is a porcelain/steel with hudee ring in a white w/gold flecks laminate cabinet instead of wall mount, but the tub is the definite star! I love this site and thank you for inspiring me to do the retro renovations that I had before only dreamed of!

You don't need to replace a toilet with "running on", leaking or similar problems. All the parts that wear out can be replaced. Even the "horn" that the flapper seats against can be repaired, in order to save the toilet. You can lower the tank capacity by putting a milk jug filled with water in there and adjusting the fill valve to provide just enough of a flush to get the job done.

No need to replace!

I'm in the minority for sure. I have a similar fixture color in my 70s ranch house bathroom and I can't wait to rip them out! For me, that color does not belong in a bathroom, especially not a small one.

We'd love to give our tear outs to a refurbishing center, and may do that with the toilet and sink (the tub is only a fiberglass surround style). They could be made 'new' again, but for us their time is long past.

For those looking for retro/vintage fixtures in the Portland area, not only is there Rejuvenation, but also The Rebuilding Center.
