Mother’s Day is May 10. Which would you choose – polished body or polished house? Note that in our last poll, asymmetry beat symmetry – but not by much, 54% to 46%.
I go for the spa day because: I have/do/would pay for someone to come in a do a deep cleaning on my old dusty farmhouse but I have a hard time forking over the cash for myself. And at my age I am due for a good “detailing”! Can I do 1/2 spa day and 1/2 car detailing?

I’m not a mother (in the legal sense) but I voted for housecleaning: Although I keep up the basics, I know there’s deep down dirt that needs outing. That and two furry cats means I would get more personal satisfaction from a super-cleaner. Besides, I wonder if I could even sit stilll long enough for a spa experience!

I must have a lot in common with Glamorlux Nancy…I’m not a mother but will vote for a spa day….I actually enjoy cleaning and organizing my house and am so fussy that I would pity any cleaner who came in! OK, ladies…..where’s the spa?

This is a tough one, as I’d love a facial and pedicure, but I’d really love someone to come in and clean my house so I could be able to relax, sit and watch TV on Mother’s Day without feelling like I have to be doing something. My new house has ivory carpeting (which will eventually be pulled and hardwood floors refinished) and it needs a steam cleaning already. Plus…somebody save me from being the ONLY person in the house who cleans the bathroom!!!!

I’m not a mother, but I voted anyway. I chose the spa day (not that I’ve ever been to a spa before – or have even had a professional manicure, for that matter). However, I’m such a control freak, that I wouldn’t want other people cleaning my house. I’d be all worried about what cleaner they used on the Heywood-Wakefield, for example!
The crazy suburban mom says
oh clean my house….please!
