I live in Tuscaloosa Alabama and my house was hit by the April 2011 tornado. It was damaged but not destroyed. I am trying to replace the damaged awnings with some that match the ones I still have left. I live in a historic district and both they and I would like replacements that match the ones I still have left. Can someone tell me where they might be custom made or where I may be able to buy old ones that match. I looked online at awning companies and I cannot find any that make the exact type I have. They were common years ago and lots of old houses have some just like mine. A local company said they could make some that would be the same. They are not the exactly the same (but I think could be altered to match if a company would do that). They installed them today and they are not even the same size as all the old ones I still have on the house and they stuck out like a sore thumb. This in spite of the fact they came to my house and measured the awnings themselves. I kept the damaged ones and even offered these for patterns, but they were not interested. Help! I would like to find replacements that match - new or old would be fine.
