Mid-century home blogs

Howdy to the Chadwells: Graham and Natalie, above. They are among the newest bloggers in our little Retro Renovation virtual clan. On their blog, The Chadwell Chronicles, we most recently shared their ups and downs trying to find a toothbrush that fit the original ceramic toothbrush holder in their bathroom. Riveting, I am not kidding you. I am trying to keep the wwweb’s most comprehensive list of blogs by homeowners updating their 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s houses. Is yours in here?  If not, please send me an email with your information via the Contact Form.

My basic “filter” is that to be listed, blogs must be house (or garden) blogs, and they must be kept relatively current.  I’d also like to continue to build the list of mid-century home associations… and environmentally focused home blogs with practical tips and no ranting. So I’d be very grateful if you’d let me know of recommendations.

Here’s my current list:

Hi, Jordan. You’re on the blogroll. Nice blog. Do you know Susan and Eric – feature in the bathroom story today? Also, I see on your blog mention of a “Hollywood bathroom.” Is that what you are hearing these called, rather than Jack ‘n Jills. I am trying to get to the bottom of this nomenclature thing.
