52PostnBeam spotted this unusual vintage Dwyer all-in-one kitchen unit on craigslist and has posted it on our forum. These one-piece Dwyer units are not uncommon, once you start watching, you seem them quite a bit. What seems to distinguish this one, however, is that it closes up like a clamshell to look like a single integral cabinets or box. Very cool. $500, Phoenix area.

It just seems so backwards to me to have an icebox or fridge directly under a heating element…
so neat!
Are those heating elements right next to a sink? I wonder how many people were electrocuted by these things…
I just moved into an apartment that was built in the 1950′s for secretaries that worked downtown. I have a dwyer unit all in one that is very similar. The stove is gas, so there would be no electric problems and the fridge is to the left, under the stove tp is an oven. I love it.
