Sesame Street was (is) such a great show. A few years ago I bought “Sesame Street Old School” DVDs off Amazon — they contained some of the great little cartoons that I remember watching growing up, along with some of the very early episodes. Nickelodeon used to play the really old episodes late at night years ago — so old that Oscar was orange!
Groovy is right! Reminds me of the old shows (like My Three Sons) where they play ‘rock’ music but they are all dancing to a different beat. Ha!
Born in ’68, I grew up watching Sesame Street. What a lovely blast to the past! Like seeing old friends….
Oddly something about the song reminded me of Hey Ya by the Outkast.
