The Nutone 30″ coppertone range hood — NOS — is pretty rockin’. No exhaust fan but I bet an electrician could install one inside it? Cute ballerina shower curtain from Down Under in this carousel, too. And: Breakfast in bed with Thermos, anyone? Disclosure: Anything that you buy — from these ebay carousels or otherwise – when you click into ebay

That Lightolier bathroom sconce is extremely cool but not cool enough for me to spend $450 on. Even $100 would be tops for me on that.
Just to be clear, I don’t necessarily post these thinking they are all “great buys.” Sometimes I post them just to: Ogle. That said, time is money. And for someone who doesn’t have a lot of time to shop … or wait … well, $450 might not be too much, especially for a pretty spectacular looking sconce like this one… Oh, and also, sometimes I post ‘em knowing they are pretty gulp-expensive in terms of their reserves — but thinking, hey, shane (or whoever) might see one tomorrow in a junk shop for $5 and whoopdeedoo, they’ll know someone thinks that might be worth $++++.
Hi Pam,
I bought a set of Youngstown Kitchen cabinets from a post I saw on your forum a couple months ago & the seller included the cooktop, oven, coppertone hood and a wall vent — all of which I will show you when the house reno is done!! The coppertone hood has a shielded double light fixture in it only… but I got a perfect circle wall vent that my contractor installed right behind the cooktop & had it ducted through the roof. It seems funny that the hood would evolve before the vent was part of it…. ?? But that seems to be the case! The cabinets & hood/vent/etc were all circa 1958ish and original to the house they came from – a suburb of St. Louis.
FYI – regarding the hood that I saw on this post.
Thanks!!! Hilary
