50 mid century house bloggers

As part of my year-end blog housekeeping, I have reviewed and updated my list of mid century house bloggers — readers who are updating and renovating their mid century houses and are chronicling their experiences with a blog. If I’ve missed you, please let me know via my Contact form. Please note, this particular part of my blogroll focuses on folks who have been actively blogging about their house experiences for a while. Above: Tom, intrepid disgusting-mid-century-recipe-eating DH of Retro Ruth, who does a fantastic job on her blog No Pattern Required. Read on for my complete list of mid century house blogs — more evidence that “we are not alone” –>

I am also working on updating my list of Design Friends and the other sections of my blogroll. I also am considering adding a section on Thrifting & Thrifters.

It has been on hiatus since the spring, but my New Year’s resolution is to get back on the horse and continue with my photo blog: montrealatomic.squarespace.com

There is soooo much left to document.
Merry Christmas Pam, thanks for another wonderful year of inspiration and information.

    Hi Pam,
Thanks for the publicity, I’ve checked out the whole list and added a few more subscriptions to my growing Google Reader subscription pile! It’s really great to find other bloggers and see what they’re doing. Happy Holidays!

Well that’s the point, Sara — to point everyone to all the great resources available. But be sure to get back to the cookie making!

Love it, thanks for all the great sites to visit, Pam! And thanks for the shout-out, glad you like the blog, and Tom loves that you used his “spaceman” picture! 🙂

    Happy Holidays!
Thank you for including me on the list. Retro Renovation was one of the first blogs I started reading – I was so delighted to find people who wanted to preserve their historic homes. I’m looking forward to making more visits to the other bloggers on this list and reading along in 2011.
Love the idea for a section on Thrifting & Thrifters. I can just imagine all the fabulous vintage finds…

Merci merci for the mention in your blog roll. Looks like we have quite a cool bunch of mid century bloggers. Thanks to all of you for sharing your stories and of course to Pam who helps inspire us to restore.

Thank you for providing this list. I used to have some favorite retro blogs bookmarked, but most have gone away. Now I have a new list to check out!
