WOW, Pam, thanks for the fabulous reward for my insomnia! I’ve recently developed a mad crush on Steven Tyler, thanks to my American Idol addiction (I was too square to listen to him back in the day)—so this was perfect, I loved it!

    2. Puddletown Cheryl says:

Steven Tyler goes up and down my puddle meter. After that he’s way up.

    3. Jana says:

Thanks for the wonderful surprise! What a great way to start the week! Aerosmith always gets me up and moving in a positive mood! Gee, I think I’ll wear something pink to work today….. :)

    4. Maryann says:

Love Aerosmith – Steven is always good at “shock value”. :) One of my favorite songs. Thanks for the morning wakeup.

    5. Jana says:

ok, ok, I know there is one in every crowd, but I can’t help it. My little brain has finally become awake and I had this thought while getting ready for work. The one thing that would have made this video absolutely perfect is: (drum roll please)…..
Imagine this: a cutaway shot of Steven Tyler in a pink speedo taking a shower in a gorgeous MCM pink bathroom!!!! Yes ladies and gentlemen, this is a “twofer”… those of you who are Steven Tyler fans could get your ST fix while the rest of us could have ooohed, aaahed and drooled over the awesome pink bathroom!

    6. Trouble says:

Well thanks. If you need me, I’ll be in the shower, crying in fetal position, washing out my mouth with Drain-O.

    7. Elaine says:

Loved this! The inclusiveness won my heart. I want pink sheets now.

    8. Whoa – was that an AVOCADO suit on one of the guys in the opening sequence? Pink and . . . Steven Tyler? Who knew? ROCK ON!

    9. Gavin Hastings says:

      Push over, Trouble:
Half a minute in and I felt 100 years old.

    10. Lynne says:

Pink? Pink??? What happened to orange???

Joe Perry…mmm-mmm. What a good way to start my day!

    11. Ann-Marie Meyers says:

Is THIS what is supposed to go on in my bathroom?
Hell’s bells! I may like being a widow after all.
Just let me finish ripping that crappy 80′s wallpaper and white fiberglass shower surround out and get right to work “Pink”-ing it up.
Hallelujah! There will be life in this old gal yet.

    12. Angela says:

Where have you all been? This came out in 1997! ;) heehee

    13. Angela says:

      that’s supposed to be a winky/teasing smiley

    14. luke says:

I feel so bad I have to confess something. I am solely responsible for tearing out at least a half a dozen 50′s kitchens and more than double that of pink, green dark red, dark green tiled bathrooms. Whew. I feel better about myself. Not what I have done. I chipped away beautiful tile, busted flawless pink toilets, cracked and destroyed deep green original sinks and threw them personally in the dumpster. Im soooo sorry. I see now, years later, that these original bathrooms kitchens and laundry rooms were actually time capsules in pristine condition. Not all of them mind you. But most of them that we removed and replaced with modern appointments were nice. Im sorry.

    15. cynthia says:

somehow i don’t think he’s singing about pink bathrooms or decor or clothing…..maybe pink pussy-cats?

      Pink…it’s my new obsession…yeah
      Pink…it’s not even a question
Pink…on the lips of your lover
‘Cause pink is the love you discover
Pink…as the bing on your cherry
      Pink…’cause you are so very
      Pink…it’s the color of passion
‘Cause today it just goes with the fashion
Pink…it was love at first sight
Yeah, pink…when I turn out the light
And pink gets me high as a kite
And I think everything is going to be alright
No matter what we do tonight
      You could be my flamingo
‘Cause pink…it’s a new kinda of lingo
      Pink…like a deco umbrella
It’s kink that you don’t ever tell her
Yeah…pink…it was love at first sight
Then pink when I turn out the light
Yeah…pink gets me high as a kite
And I think everything is going to be alright
No matter what we do tonight
      Yeah…
      I…want to be your lover
I, I wanna wrap you in rubber
And it’s pink as the sheets that we lay on
      ‘Cause pink…It’s my favorite crayon
      Yeah
Pink…it was love at first sight…yeah
Pink…when I turn out the light
Yeah, pink…it’s like red but not quite
And I think everything is going to be alright
No matter what we do tonight

    16. Olivia says:

What a blast from the past! I haven’t heard this song for ages. *rummaging for the album*

    17. Diane says:

Okay, I guess I am going to be one of the odd ones here. I love pink bathrooms and pink is one of my favorite colors but that song could make me, well, not like them so much anymore. I have to agree with Angela, that song came out in the 90′s and Cynthia, he’s probably not singing about pink bathrooms.

Sorry. I don’t like to be insulting. I just go a little more retro than Aerosmith.

    18. karen says:

I find this both entertaining and creepy. Where did they find some of those, um, unique characters? Or is that photoshopping?

    19. Jackie says:

Darlings, I’m sure Pam is old enough to understand that the song ain’t about bathrooms. A lovely pink bathroom, however, would be a lovely setting…

And didn’t we all know that Mick’s “mother’s little helper” had nothing to do with the housekeeper or a helpful child? What would music be without double (or maybe triple) entendre?

    20. Lou Meigs says:

I love the song! I, too had never heard it. I have found myself of the opinion that Steven Tyler is like Sean Connery; he just gets better looking with age.
