Update: Entries/Comments closed. As soon as I get an hour free, I will spin the Random and pick a winner. Once they have responded to my email, I’ll announce the winner. Many thanks for playing! Contest time: The dynamic duo of vintage wallpaper decor — Mark and Nicole Lewis of Fondue Vintage – are providing this week’s cheery giveaway: A pair of wall switchplates decorated with vintage wallpaper — any size, any wallpaper — winner’s choice.
And yes, Made in America:
Mark and Nicole handcraft Fondue’s wares from their home studio in the quiet countryside just outside Nashville, Tennessee. After covering a few switch plates in their home with some 1950′s wallpaper found at a barn sale, they couldn’t believe what an impact such a small detail could make. The couple agreed that everyone with boring, plastic wallplates needed to experience the same rejuvenation to the walls in their homes.
Several years later they now have hundreds of rolls of antique and vintage wallpapers and cover a lot more than just switch plates. Their passion for vintage pattern grows as their collection of papers does, and they love giving new life to mundane household decor by covering it in kitschy pink poodles, glamorous magnolias and atomic starbursts.

Vintage wallpaper switchplates & lampshades
Vintage pink poodle wallpaper… and pink checkerboard teapot wallpaper, too!
Vintage wallpaper festival continues – with another source, courtesy Femme1
Being from Lexington KY, I certainly am in love with the Enamored Equines. There’s even a pattern called Kentucky Horse Farm that would be just right. What a wonderful line of products. Thanks Pam, and Fondue, for the contest.
OMG I pretty much love all of the poodles. When I was around 5 or 6 I was convinced I was a pink circus poodle named Fifi. I even made my mom feed me from a bowl. I’m still quite obsessed with poodles yet own a pit bull.
I adored both cats/dogs and the kitchen classics. Gotta love a good switchplate!
I am presently working w Nicole to select some switch plates. The patterns I am thinking of using are: Funky fab, Calico kitchen, and recipe for Veggies.
Oddly enough, I can’t think of a place in my mid century house that cries out for one of these, but the Cozy Little House in Texas ( built in 1986) wants lots of them! I think Recipe for Veggies would be a great choice for the light switch at the archway between my kitchen and dining room.
The poor Cozy Little House really needs a pick-me-up. This last summer was not kind to her. She suffered some bad foundation damage due to the drought. My sprinkler system control got fried by a lightening strike, and the foundation did not get kept watered. The living room is now four inches lower than the center of the house. Ouch.
Facing thousands of dollars of repairs has made me realize I really love this house, and I don’t want to sell it. I am not happy in my new place, mid century or not. My daughter is, though, so we will find some roommates for her, and I will rent it to them for a year while I decide what to do.
I can add more mid century touches to the CLH. Heck, it already has a lot of Danish furniture. Switchplates and lampshades are a great way to start!
I am a total pushover for pink elephants – and poodles. Hmmmm….that makes me kind of cats/dogs/mid mod/uber kitsch…
Love the kitchen mod ones!
Love those Funky Dutch Folk!
Oh my! This is fantastic! I love the up town poodles as I am a proud parent of two cream standard poodles. It makes me want to dress my little Charlotte and Louis in pearls and a top hat!
I also love the pink and blue kitchen classic! I may need to splurge and get these for two rooms!
VERY CHERRY kitchen or country cottage rooster. would match the knotty pine kitchen perfectly,. I LOVE love love their stuff. Thanks! I wonder if they could use a role of 50′s paper I found here at the house,…..
Ooooo! Me likee! Choose me!
My styles are cats/dogs and mid mod.
Although the Smurf paper made me laugh I think the cowboys/indians theme is my favourite.
Oh my, so difficult to choose! I like the flora/fauna and would probably go with one of those. But I DO love the poodles, and the mod girls, and the French Maid. Such a tough decision!! I love the kitchen ones, but really don’t have a spot for one.
I like so many. It’s really hard to pick just one. The florals are winning so far.
The Excitable Caped Crusader is cracking me up, but I have to go with Margie’s Kitchen 1940 — very beautiful!
Love these! Can I comment on a particular switchplate instead? I’m sure my son would love Olde Tyme Train for his bedroom.

I haven’t bought any of these yet because I can’t decide which one I love more.
These are adorable. And who doesn’t need more poodle in their life?
OMG – LOVE them!!!! Have a ton of their items saved to my Etsy favs. Definitely Americana for sure.
That is one of the cutest vintage stores I’ve ever seen! I love the Chatty Pink Poodle — and the Dog/Cat switchplate covers in general!
Anything red or yellow for my 1940′s kitchen would be very, very cool!!!!!
what a tough choice! i think my favorite is “mid century pine cone”, although “classic pine cone” is a close second place. i am quite fond of the “elegant pine floral” as well though. although who wouldn’t smile at the sight of “country cottage rooster” or “country ducks on farm”? “pink and blue classic kitchen” really stands out too…hmmm…
Please don’t make me choose, WOW how great are the choices. I want to go thru their wall paper closet…………
Soooo hard to decide. The Sea of Love designs would go with my tiki stuff, but the Atomic Floral in the Mid Mod/Uber Kitsch would be the one if I had to choose just one. Spectacular patterns and colors.
I can’t choose really, they are all so great, but if for no other reason then the name I’ll pick “Big Pimpin, Southern Mansion” that made me laugh!
Mid mod definitely!
OMG, the Cats & Dogs for sure. So super cute.
I LOVE these and have had my eye on them for a while. If I must chose, I love the mid mod category the best!
Frolicking bunnies 1950! Although they are all adorable!
LOVING the Americana… would look great in our kitchen.
My favorites are the ballerinas in the kids/comics sports section especially the Dancing Ballerinas 1960′s Vintage
I am totally in love with these switchplates! There are a couple I would love for my sons room!
Please random number generator, pick me!! Anything from the cowboys/ indians or sea of love will be AOK by me!!
I’ve been trying to talk my wife into letting me order 2 of these for our kitchen, but if I won this, I could just order them and tell her I won them!
We both love the kitschy kitchen switchplates. This is a great idea!
oh man. the cowboys and indians are amazing.
Oodles of poodles- that’s my vote! These are really great!
Love the mid mods
I love the Country Charms 1950′s.
Its too hard to choose! I love them all
My switchplate style is the Pink and Blue Classic Kitchen or the Big Pink Emu. I love anything pink, blue and 50′s, especially for my kitchen and bathroom!
All about the folksy folk, especialy the mod girl w/poodle, or just the mod gril @ the table. However there are so many other good choices in this category!
We are all about the Poodles. We have 2 real poodles that are brown. And before CoCo and Dior came to live in PoodleWorld, we had Dart and Belle Aire. We also have a collection of mostly ceramic poodles (estimate 200-ish) with plenty of stuffed poodles since we’re not very picky when it comes to poodles.
I like the mod girl with the poodle! Captures my Midcentury style!
These are amazing!!! Makes me with I had a lot less “rocker” style switches, but I see some good options on here for those too! I think Mid-Mod is my favorite.
I like a bunch of them, but I’d have to say the mid mod/kitchy ones are my top choice… if I had the matching lamp shade.
Great site! I’m particularly fond of the switch plates called Air Squadron 1940′s, with vintage airplanes.
I can already see them in my hubby’s office, since he’s taking flying lessons and has his sights on buying a vintage airplane.
So…..Pick me! Pick me! please…
Mid-Mod/Uber Kitsch is the best! I love those patterns from the 50′s/60′s. The Atomic Age at its best!
I love the poodles, ballerinas, and mid-mod the best!
Has to be uber kitcsh! I’ve been obsessing over these switch plates since you posted them forever ago, just have to decide which lights in our house are most deserving of them!
