Update: The contest is over, the Random was spun, winner Sylvia was contacted, and she promptly responded. So the wreath is on its way to her. Congratulations, Sylvia. And thanks to everyone who participated and for all your wonderful greetings. Happy Holidays, everyone, and thank you for a wonderful year. ‘Tis the season for giving, and to celebrate, I engaged Suzy aka Georgia Peachez to make one of her holiday wreaths created from vintage Christmas ornaments that I could give away in a special end-of-year contest on the blog. She pulled out her shiniest Shiny Brites — and I asked for a sparkly elf, which she dug out of her treasure chest just for us. How do you enter? Read on –>
Comment to win a vintage Christmas ornament wreath made by Georgia Peachez:
The rules:
- Well, as I said, ’tis the season for giving, so with this giveaway/gift, I simply want to celebrate and encourage the many good things that people are doing to help those less fortunate or in need. I don’t think that broadcasting specific good deeds, organizations or activities is necessary. So to enter to win (1) just keep spreading the love and (2) Comment sharing your season greeting.
- Note: First-time comments are held for moderation; you will not see your comment until I get in there to moderate.
- Contest closes on Monday morningish, Dec. 19. I will then choose a winner by Random Number Generator.

Oh, yes! Just like Christmas used to be! Love it. Even if I don’t win, I will start looking for old ornaments at garage sales so that I can attempt one of my own by next year.
Hey Santa Pam.. All I want for Christmas is a vintage wreath to hang on the new-to-me, old-to-the-universe, original post-war/early 50s door. I’ll sweep out your sleigh for a month, I *promise*!
I love how the Christmas lights all around town brighten up these days as they get dark so much sooner. Enjoy your christmas lights and help out a stranger in need!
The wreath is an “O”–just like Occupy! This is a time to think of others and all they are doing to make things better.
It’s really nice to see really awesome ornaments recycled. I’ve purchased retro glass bulbs in summer rummage sales. I have too many!! I love them though!
I can remember many of the ornaments used in the wreath. A very lovely present for the lucky recipient. Wishing all a very Merry Holiday Season.
Wow – that is beautiful! Wishing the sparkliest of holidays, whichever you celebrate, to all!
Bessings to all that know the true meaning of Christmas…and to those that savor the things of the past….

I stumbled upon these wreaths from pinterest and they are absolutely gorgeous! I am the biggest lover of vintage ornaments! I would be soooo excited to win this amazing wreath!
This weekend has been filled with events that remind me how lucky I am to have such loving family and friends. But especially, my favorite day was today….Christmas Cantata at church in the morning, and annual Christmas Program this evening (also at church). Our church, over the course of the year, does many things for the community. But it is at Christmas that the spirit of sharing and caring for our community and our sister and brothers of our world is renewed. Have a wonderful, blessed Christmas.
Carol

Very creative and awesome idea for a new look to a wreath! Gives a new look to the Christmas theme as well! I definately have ideas for next year’s Christmas theme already. I know a few people that would love this wreath as well! Two thumbs up!
I wish that everyone has a wonderful and blessed Christmas and upcoming New Year!
Merry Christmas to all my fellow vintage/retro lovers! Excited to see who wins this wonderful wreath! God bless!
This wreath is simply fantastic! Happy Holidays to everyone! Many thanks to Pam and the other readers who have inspired me this past year during the renovation of our 1940 house. Goodbye bad 80′s renovation, hello again to the 1940′s. Our friends think we’re crazy- “why did you make it look old?” – so it was awesome to find other like-minded folks were out there.
Such beautiful wreaths. I love the vintage childlike feelings I get when I look at all the cool yule details in these wreaths. Joyous Christmas to all. God Bless everyone.
Oh I love this wreath so much! Had to post about it on my blog at http://www.WarmHugsDesign.blogspot.com and share the love about your fun giveaway…
Looking at this wreath put me into the Christmas spirit so thank you for sharing it with us all. May your holidays be filled with love, laughter, and much joy.
Warm hugs,
Pam
What I love about this wreath is how beautifully you can see the detail of the old ornaments- they show even better in if on a tree. I’d love to have it, but maybe not winning will spur me to actually make one myself. Ha, as if!
Seasons greetings! I have enjoyed your blog so much over the past year! Thanks for all the fun and great info.
Here’s hoping for a Wonderful Xmas and a Great 2012 for everyone! Love the ornaments; some match the ones on my tree!
What a great reminder of past holidays. Cheers and best wishes to all!
Wishing you a merry, happy holiday season! That wreath is beyond fabulous and whoever the lucky winner is will be so happy.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE….
Dear Santa Pam,
How are you? I’ve been a very good girl this year! I just moved this past weekend from Louisville, Ky to Indianapolis, Indiana and have no Christmas or holiday decorations up. My beautiful aluminum tree is packed away and lost is a sea of boxes. It would be wonderful to put the peach of a wreath on my door for all to see and enjoy!
Wishing all the happiest of holidays!
Julie
I love these wreaths! They make me happy just to look at them! Mele Kalikimaka me ka Hau’oli Makahiki Hou!
