Vintage ornament wreath by Georgia Peachez for Retro Renovation copyrighted imageUpdate: The contest is over, the Random was spun, winner Sylvia was contacted, and she promptly responded. So the wreath is on its way to her. Congratulations, Sylvia. And thanks to everyone who participated and for all your wonderful greetings. Happy Holidays, everyone, and thank you for a wonderful year. ‘Tis the season for giving, and to celebrate, I engaged Suzy aka Georgia Peachez to make one of her holiday wreaths created from vintage Christmas ornaments that I could give away in a special end-of-year contest on the blog. She pulled out her shiniest Shiny Brites — and I asked for a sparkly elf, which she dug out of her treasure chest just for us. How do you enter? Read on –>

Comment to win a vintage Christmas ornament wreath made by Georgia Peachez:

    The rules:

    • Well, as I said, ’tis the season for giving, so with this giveaway/gift, I simply want to celebrate and encourage the many good things that people are doing to help those less fortunate or in need. I don’t think that broadcasting specific good deeds, organizations or activities is necessary. So to enter to win (1) just keep spreading the love and (2) Comment sharing your season greeting.
    • Note: First-time comments are held for moderation; you will not see your comment until I get in there to moderate.
    • Contest closes on Monday morningish, Dec. 19. I will then choose a winner by Random Number Generator.
    • You must reply to my email within 7 days. Make sure your email is correct.
    • U.S. only due to customs issues, which make it difficult to ship cross-border.
Thank you, Suzy, for the lovely wreath, and thank you all for participating.

This weekend has been filled with events that remind me how lucky I am to have such loving family and friends. But especially, my favorite day was today….Christmas Cantata at church in the morning, and annual Christmas Program this evening (also at church). Our church, over the course of the year, does many things for the community. But it is at Christmas that the spirit of sharing and caring for our community and our sister and brothers of our world is renewed. Have a wonderful, blessed Christmas.

This wreath is simply fantastic! Happy Holidays to everyone! Many thanks to Pam and the other readers who have inspired me this past year during the renovation of our 1940 house. Goodbye bad 80′s renovation, hello again to the 1940′s. Our friends think we’re crazy- “why did you make it look old?” – so it was awesome to find other like-minded folks were out there.

      Dear Santa Pam,

How are you? I’ve been a very good girl this year! I just moved this past weekend from Louisville, Ky to Indianapolis, Indiana and have no Christmas or holiday decorations up. My beautiful aluminum tree is packed away and lost is a sea of boxes. It would be wonderful to put the peach of a wreath on my door for all to see and enjoy!

Wishing all the happiest of holidays!
