Update: Congratulations to reader Natasha. I spun the random.org random number generator, her number came up, she confirmed my email, and she is now working with Rejuvenation to choose her Blenko lamp. Thanks, everyone, for playing — and thanks, Rejuvenation, for this wonderful giveaway!
We first reported in August that Rejuvenation would be reviving authentic Blenko lamps — and now, the on-sale date has arrived. Today, these lamps go “live” on Rejuvenation’s website, and catalogs will start arriving in homes on Nov. 13. We’re big fans of Rejuvenation products here on the blog — and just to share some love, I asked if they’d like to do a giveaway. They readily agreed. So — yes! — in celebration of the Blenko launch, here’s your chance to win a Blenko Cylinder lamp — your choice of color — your choice of shade — from Rejuvenation. Such delicious lamps! Read on for contest rules and how to enter –>

The new line of Blenko lamps features numerous shapes, colors and shades. This giveaway is for a CYLINDER LAMP, your choice of color, your choice of shade.
As a reminder, these Blenko lamps are Made in the USA — by the original Blenko company, using historic techniques. Rejuvenation explained:
Rejuvenation’s collaboration with Blenko is a true partnership. Blenko blows the glass vessels for us, in West Virginia, using the same traditional methods they always have… They then ship the vessels to Rejuvenation where they are assembled and wired by our team of craftspeople, on site in our factory in Portland, Oregon. This partnership is a really exciting opportunity to bring back these quality American-made designs.

Beautiful lamps. They remind of the Blenko vases I bought years ago in the 60′s. Who knows where they live now! I would choose the clear cylinder lamp with the linen shade. That would be a safe choice for my home. Colors are beautiful.
The peacock color lamp would look phenomenal with my daughters Danish Modern Turquoise Daybed! The daybed was a gift from a friend who loved and collected glass. The glass and the Danish Modern furniture always looked so great together….The green lamp would be perfect in my orange and yellow garden/breakfast nook room. The light coming through the glass would be beautiful.
My cats read this and asked me to enter the contest. They love cool retro things and have better taste than me. They tell me these would look great on my old stereo cabinet and, as usual, they are right.
Any one of these lamps would stand out beautifully in my vintage/industrial loft. We have a tremendous amount of light during the day, but this would be a classy way to illuminate things once the sun goes down.
I would love that teal lamp! Very nice! Thanks for the opportunity!
I love Blenko glass! I have a small collection of vintage pieces, so the lamp would be right at home. They have such interesting shapes and beautiful colors. I love the Blenko blue, but I think I’d pick that lovely olive. Fingers crossed!
These lamps are beautiful. I would love to win. Thanks.
Both the peacock and the olive are beautiful. In fact, I’m re-doing my living room in both colors. But I think I would choose the olive. Thank you so much – what a nice giveaway!
Ooh la la, so pretty! I would definitely choose the Peacock. It would go perfectly with all the jewel tones in my house.
Oh my, so gorgeous. I’d choose peacock because my living room could use some color. Or maybe olive for my bedroom. That would be a tough choice because they’re all really beautiful.
I love the clear/natural burlap combo!
as much as I love my current lamp in my living room, I’d have to wave bah bye to it for the olive wave, what a beauty!
The turquoise is lovely. We need a new lamp for the new nursery (!)
I wanna! Turquoise for new apartment. No furniture yet, but must have lamps:- )
The chartreuse hourglass would look amazing next to my absinthe poster!!
Peacock, Turquoise, Blue….Beautiful!
One of these gorgeous lamps would look great in my newly remodeled living room. Thank you for offering this contest!
I’d love to win!
I LOVE the blue blenko glass lamp. I have a whole wall of built in’s in my dining room/ living room. The blue lamp would look AWESOME with my blue glass. PLEASE PICK ME!!!!
OMG. These are amazing! Thanks for letting us know they are now available. I want to win!!!!!!!!
The peacock color is so yummy! We could use some cheery light here after the darkness of hurricane sandy. Thank you
Ohhh! I would love to win one of these gorgeous lamps! I’d have to go with the Wheat Flare one – it would match some of my blenko glass I inherited from my grandmother.
I would love to have that beautiful lamp because my living room doesn’t have one! All the colors are lovely!
I LOVE the teal lamp! It would look beautiful with the light shining through it on my teak credenza! Beautiful!
Those lamps are super lovely! One would be a wonderful addition to my dimly lit house!
The wheat wave table lamp would look awesome in my living room! I have a lot of gold and wood, so it would be an excellent addition.
I would choose the Peacock cylinder lamp and I would LOVE to win because I love lamp.
The peacock cylinder lamp would look so beautiful in my living room. I believe decorating is like painting a picture….adding little things brings a room to life.
I really love the translucent lamp with a white (or linen shade). I would use it in my bedroom – would be great on the table next to my bed for night reading. The lamps are beautiful, happy they are being made. Have done business with Rejuvenation, and have been very happy. Thank you for the opportunity to win a beautiful lamp!
Oh wow, those lamps are gorgeous. The cylinder lamp in the peacock color would look so good in my den/office. I have been looking for pieces that are beautiful and fun too look at and this really fits the bill.
I wanna! Tight budget, but I NEEDED an Eames rocker, so I took 2 truck loads of stuff out of my house and made a deal with a consignment shop to trade it ALL for the rocker. But, shoot, now it needs that Blenko olive wave lamp to go with it! I get the jitters just thinking about it!
Why do I think this lamp would look great in my house?? Uhm, because it is freaking gorgeous!! They are so awesome! What a great look.
Why would it look great in my home? How could these lamps not look great anywhere?
If I win I’d like the the lamp in Peacock blue with the white linen shade.
Olive! My house is odd & vintage & eclectic. It should have one of these lamps. Yes please.
A blue Blenko glass lamp would be perfect with the Rimini Blue pottery pieces we have been picking up for our den remodel ! I love Rejuvenation’s mid century line . We have been looking at the Astron hanging lights for over our bar.
I would be so excited to win a Blenko lamp & would most certainly choose a peacock color cylinder lamp! First off, I have a naugahyde (sp?) chair that is almost the same color, but secondly, I used to have a stuffed (i.e. taxidermy) peacock that my cats eventually destroyed. So sad. But the lamp is not sad; the lamp is awesome! I have a condo in Louisville KY that I am trying to furnish so the addition of a beautiful Blenko lamp would be amazing!
Thanks very much,
Katherine
I think I would choose the peacock cylindrical lamp with the ivory shade. I think. Maybe not. Maybe one of the round lamps, instead. Hmmm….
Have loved Blenko for many years. I’ve bought and sold so much over the years. I still have a few giant Blenko ashtrays and a few vases. My fave color is orange blended, but would love any of these lamps. I think, if I had to choose a color though, it would be peacock. I have been assessing my lamp situation lately as it happens and a new lamp for my midcentury lounge/dining room would be perfect to replace the knock off 70s Urban Outfitters lamp by the banquette. Great giveaway!!
oooh that’s a tough choice! But the peacock really jumped out at me. It would compliment my front formal rooms so beautifully! I think the linen shade is nice but I bet black would be killer
Love. Love. Love. I’d have to flip a coin to decide between the peaccok and the olive. Something like this would make me smile each and every time I saw it!
i am remodeling the basement in my 1955 midcentury modest and the TURQUOISE lamp with white shade would look FAB. i can’t imagine this undertaking without the inspiration and information from your blog. where would we wanna-be mod podders be without you?
This lamp looks like one Samantha would accidentally smash and then twitch back into shape when Darren wasn’t looking, and would look simply smashing in my MCM living room!
Oh definitely the peacock color! It would be SOOOOOO happy in my house. =)
The peacock lamp with the natural shade would look awesome in my living room- under my vintage mirror shadow box full of colorful glass vintage paperweights!
I want one of these fab lamps to come live among friends in my 1955 split level.
Good grief, Charlie Brown, these are gorgeous. Genie bottle lamps!
I’d love one in any color, any style.
West Virginia, you’re in our thoughts and prayers after the recent storm. Hang in there, and keep the fires burning at Blenko.
These lamps are gorgeous! The wheat flare lamp would go beautifully with the finishes in my living room… I love the touch of wood included in the base of the lamp!
Today, Friday, November 2nd, is my Birthday – what better reason for me to win the lamp?
And it would look great in our 1963 butterfly roofed modern that we are just starting to restore / preserve . . .
We’ve got two pink bathrooms! Does that increase my chances? One us original and staying. The other I rescued from another house for use in replacing the messed up remodeled bathroom from the ’90′s!
I’ve been looking for a replacement lamp for our living room and one of these would go well, and would be free. The current lamp, which is vintage, was purchased for a quarter, but has taken a beating over the years. These Blenko lamps look fantastic, and if I won, it would be free. This is keeping in line with our living room lamps: awesome style & low, low price.
The teal/aqua would look amazing in front of my knotty pine wainscot in the living room! Either with a white or burlap shade. It would also compliment my awesome teak Danish Modern lamp that we picked up at Goodwill. Eclecticism rules in my living room, and this would be a wonderful addition.
I just must have the Emerald Carafe Table Lamp…two of my favs: green and carafe (full of coffee of course)!
LOVE the turquoise carafe table lamp. simple and classic. the finial is my favorite part!
Very pretty. I have the perfect spot amongst my assortment of 60′s decanters.
The Peacock Blenko would be perfect for my home! I have lots of light aqua and really want some darker teal/peacock accents. That lamp would be perfect (the olive is gorgeous as well and has a great 60s vibe). It would make a great birthday gift for me this month, too.
These lamps would look great in our new to us 1960s ranch home because we don’t have enough lighting and we’d finally be able to see our house at night!
The olive color would look great in my living room! I have it decorated in shades of teal and chartreuse. I also have a large collection of vintage glass bottles, so this would fit right in! Thanks for another great giveaway, Pam!
This lamp would look great because it would complement the aesthetic we are going for in our 1960s ranch home.
Excellent looking lamps! I want one!
These are gorgeous. If I win, I will pick the Wheat Flare Table Lamp for my living room. Love, love, love!!
The Peacock Blenko cylinder lamp would look great in my dining room because aqua and pepto-pink walls look great together! Or maybe I’ll put it in my living room. My chartreuse walls would also make that aqua really pop. And it would look great with my vintage swing glass vase collection. Coincidentally, my birthday is also this month. Monday, to be exact. And it’s Guy Fawkes Day on Monday, too! The best birthdays are the ones on which you can burn someone in effigy. XD
Ooooooo, a Blenco lamp would be perfect!!!!!
Wow one of these would look gorgeous in my living room or my bedroom! They have just the pop of color that my room needs! They are playful as well, especially with the genie-like pointed tip on the turquoise one that should be sitting next to me!
These are gorgeous – I would pick a blue/teal color and I would probably go with the tallest ones. I have found that I really want/need some super tall lamps – like use to be more prevalent.
I pick the purple one…..cuz who doesn’t need some funky colors in their lives….right?
The Wheat Flare lamp would go perfect in my living room! For 10 years now I have been transforming it to the retro room of my dreams. I’m getting there, but the new Blenko lamp is a perfect touch!
I am absolutely in love with the peacock and wheat colors! I recently scored a Hey-Wake living room set at my local second hand store and this would look so FAB in my living room. Love them all!!
Ooooh, pick me! What lamp wouldn’t look great in my 1957 MCM house?
We went to an estate sale last summer and every room in the house was filled with vintage Blenko glass… we were in heaven… but came home with only three pieces! A lovely new lamp in turquoise would feel right at home with our three vintage pieces!
The turquoise lamp seems made for our living room! Recently had a roof leak damaging my side table lamp so this would really put a retro smile back on my face!
How serendipitous…I was just thinking that we needed a table lamp in our living room! They’re all so pretty, but we definitely love color here, so it would be teal, blue, or amethyst for sure.
Would love a yellow one!
We had to sell our wonderful 60′s ranch in NW Indiana and I am now trying to create a mcm feeling in our contractor beige townhome in SE Alabama. Boy would a Blenko Flare lamp in wheat help make that happen!!!
The light blue color is the most unusual and would do a great job of capturing the light.
All of these are GORGEOUS, I would have no idea how to decide! I love the sixties-ish finial on the carafe design, groovy! Expensive, but gorgeous.
Wow! We just bought a super cool granny ranch from 1960 & the peacock lamp would look amazing in my living room.
Oh yes, the Wheat Flare Table Lamp with a Black Linen Shade would be perfect on my bedside table! When I recently remodeled my bathroom I purchased an orange ceiling light from Rejuvenation and it makes me smile every time I turn it on.
Love these! Any shade of green would do for me! I also love that peacock blue.
Something with green glass pretty please. Pretty darn cool!
I want one in amber for my night stand. I’m redoing my bedroom in brown and gold, this would look spectacular!
Oh my gosh, I love these. I would choose the olive green base with the natural burlap shade because that would look STUNNING on my original heywood wakefield dresser against the avocado walls in my bedroom. As much as I love finding true vintage items, authentic reproductions of the original items means I know it will be around for easily another 50 years. And the people at Rejuvenation are true masters of their craft. DH and I have purchased quite a few pieces from their collections during the “un-renovation” of our 1958 ranch.
I want it PLEASE – would look awesome in my 1960′s home:)
Love the lamps. Remodeling my late 60′s house and it would add a little dazzle.
LOVE all of those featured …. We are putting on an addition and I am using the aquas, lime greens and yellows to make it a bright and happy place to welcome friends. One of those lamps would be happy there too!
The blue lamp will fit perfect anywhere in my house!
These are all gorgeous! I think I love the blue the best, but then I look at the green…
I have some vintage Lane knockoff endtables that neeeeed those lamps to sit upon them!
The blue would be great, though my wife might prefer the clear…they’re all great.
Love the peacock (for my bedroom) or the stunning olive with black shade (for the living room). Can’t decide!
I am in LOVE with these lamps! I just bought a 1960′s ranch house, and it is a perfect time capsule. The cobalt/peacock blue lamp would look incredible in my living room. I have a very retro print, circa 1968, with starbursts on it… and the cobalt color would accent this perfectly!!!
I was just thinking last night how my mom has passed on her obsession with lamps to me. They’re everywhere in our old brick four-square. A green glass base with a burlap shade MIGHT stem my addiction. Until I needed a lovely blue one…
A Rejuvenation lamp would look stunning in my house because I have a ton of vintage items and love the mid century look! The clear cylinder one would look gorgeous on my credenza!
What an awesome giveaway! Thanks for hosting it! I have a lovely collection of Blenko vases so the lamp is perfect for our home! I currently love all things aqua/peacock so I’d pick that one!
I would love one of these lamps for my new/old home. I move into my atomic ranch in just 17 more days. I think the peacock would be wonderful in the living room.
Wow! Gorgeous! It’s a difficult toss-up between the glorious peacock and the super-versatile clear. . . we’ve almost finished renovating what will be our home office, and the Blenko would add a great vibe to that space!
Those are terrific. Straightforward, clean, and stylish. I especially dig the Olive color and it would be an excellent replacement for the lamp on my nightstand which is, honestly, made from a painted cider jug.
Wow! I’d love to have one of these in my guest bedroom. I love all the colors, choosing would be so hard! I’d probably go with the green. I totally dig the teardrop shaped top on some of them.
I love the clear lamp on the left, with the shade just as it is shown. Our house is from 1909 — hardly MC! — but I like having stuff in it from throughout its history. We have a bunch of late 50s “colonial” cherry furniture from my husband’s mom’s house, a fake Morris chair, an Eames-era coffee table, and a butterfly chair. They co-exist very happily.
This lamp would look great in my house because how could it not look great ANYWHERE?!?!
Love the Turquoise! I’ve just moved from an urban townhouse to a rural contemporary. There’s a lot of remodeling and redecorating in my future. That turquoise lamp would look great in my new living room!
Ooooh! Ahhhhh! These lamps are yummy!
We would be so excited to have one of these in our living room. Ever since we moved into our new home a littlibover a year ago its been sadly lacking in furniture and accessories though it’s getting there piece by piece. Tough to pick from these lovely colors, they are all so beautiful.
I love these lamps! The blue is my favorite but I love the versatility of the clear!
Peacock Cylinder or Turquoise Carafe! It would look great in my house, because, well, it so goes with my mid century modern decor!!!!
Drooling!!!! I want the peacock one because my mid mod house is already so colorful inside, and peacock is the perfect compliment to my orange and green decor! Eeeeeeee!
Okay, I want the amber. No, wait, the peacock, blue. No, the green, yes, the green. No! Wait! That purple is so unexpected! Who can choose?
Wow, these look great!!!!
One of these would be the perfect match with my late 50′s/early 60′s wall unit.
I sure hope I win !!!!
I would love one of the Clear Flare Table Lamps for my lovely new (old) Cliff May in Colorado. We’re seeking out pieces that fit the original, largely unmodified architecture and this one is just beautiful! The flare form feels both organic and modern.
I’m loving that wheat wave table lamp. I have a lot of my own blown glass around the house and while these lamps would highlight how much of an amateur I am, they’d also class up the joint!
One of these would look great in our house because our house loves to say the work “Blenko”. We’ll be relaxing, watching TV and then the house starts in “Blenko Blenko Blenko!” Sometimes it won’t shut up until we dust or vacuum.
The amethyst doesn’t seem to be available any more. That makes me sad. But I’d really enjoy any color but clear because they’re all great looking colors.
i love handcrafted Blenko glass and the fact that the company endures and the dedication to American craft continues there. I have collected several Blenko pieces which we just unpacked in our “new” living room. We moved recently–we downsized to a charming mid-century Cape Cod. Since we must edit our “stuff” to fit our smaller space, we are furnishing it with only our favorite things! Handcrafted and original is what we’re striving for, and a retro Blenko lamp would be perfect! I love the choices, but am drawn to the clear base and the neutral shade–very understated and makes the form the thing! Congrats to Blenko on the new line of lamps! Keep up the good work.
I want the green, hour-glassed shaped lamp. It would look groovy, cool in my pad.
These lamps are so pretty!
One of these beautiful lamps would add much needed sparkly cheer to our dark winter days!
The green would be lovely in my family room sitting right on top of my blonde mid century end table. Even better. An actual lamp instead of overhead lighting.
The Peacock Blue of course.
Wow, these are all so lovely! I can think of several places one could go in my house. I think the buffet from my grandparents deserves one of these gorgeous lamps
a blue lamp would look great in our living room right by our front window because the light would show it at it’s best and all of the neighbors could see it’s beauty as they walk by every morning.
I want,I want, I want! These are just lovely! Ill take one in any color please!
I live in the central Virginia house that founder William Blenko’s daughter Grace Blenko lived in during the mid-century period. Like her mother, she was musically gifted — she taught piano for many years in one of our front rooms. I often joke that if the house were to be haunted, I want it to be by the spirit of Amazing Grace, as she is fondly remembered by those who knew her (I never had the honor),
Wait. She just whispered in my ear that she wants the turquoise carafe lamp in her old music room. And so do I!
These lamps are beautiful. My living room is heavy on navy and burgundy, but I’ve been adding green accent pieces so I would choose the Olive lamp with the Natural Burlap shade.
I almost bought a lamp that is similar to these (SO beautiful!) last weekend…but it was made in another country and didn’t have a base! I love the look and would choose one of the blue ones (unless ther is one in purple!!) hope I win!!
Wow, these are stunningly beautiful.
I would choose the Peacock. It would look so good in my newly-painted living room (Sherwin Williams Slow Green), with my avocado green Rowe Dorset sectional with throw pillows in green, peacock blue and orange and vintage Danish lounge chairs that I need new pads for – I think they’ll be upholstered in orange.
They are beautiful! I definitely need to order one or two or three…
I desperately need to change out the dinky lamp in my living room. It is a hand me down that my brother’s wife gave to me when I moved into my first home. She had used it in college and gave me a box of her old college apartment stuff that she didn’t want anymore. Its way to small for the space and I have been searching for something to replace it with.
Beautiful!! You can never have too many lamps~
Clear and neutral — just classic form!
This would be a great first lamp to own to start down the path of properly getting my little mitts on more retro lighting needs.
I am putting together a neutral living room that focuses on all the great mid-century textures. Clear glass is for me! – ruth
These lamps look like candy! I would love the blue!
I’d love to have a smoke hue or light green lamp … would place it on the danish mid century Broyhill dresser that my parents had shipped on the train from Pittsburgh to Houston back in 1954 when they moved here. When my parents died, the neighbors bought the dresser in an estate sale. I was able to buy back my childhood home a few years later and one morning, had the urge to get up early and walk outside. The neighbors were having a garage sale and low and behold, there was my father’s dresser in their driveway! The dresser is now proudly displayed in my foyer and am happy it made it’s way back into the Hellmann family! I think of my parents every time I see it.
Beautiful american made base, thank you for bringing back!
I love them, LOVE them all! It would be so hard to pick just one, but I’m sure I could do it if I won one of them.
I wonder what volume of drool the cylinder holds?
I just went to the web site. I’ll have to WIN one, because I certainly can’t afford to buy one!
I would love to have a blue one.
This lamp would look great in my house because it would match the Blenko vase on my mantle!
I would love to have this in purple, to match my vase.
I would pick the peacock cylinder as it would go perfect in my living room with a mid century vibe and other vintage lighting.
These lamps are beautiful! I have a rickety one that needs replacing.
I like the tall teal or the fat light blue. all are very nice!
O. M. G. They’re all so gorgeous!! Who can narrow it down to just one? I know I can’t….But the turquoise, peacock, and wheat flare would go best in my home! Oooh! And I know just the spot for the amethyst one!
Turquoise carafe! We just moved into our home and main colors in the living room and kitchen are yellow, grey, and turquoise…perfect pop of color and gorgeous lamp!
This would look great in my home! I love the amber colored lamps!
Gimme, gimme, gimme!
Peacock Blue please! Would go fabulous with my vintage farmhouse we are new home owners of! Just starting to get the ideas flowing! LOVE this lamp!
I love retro! These lamps would look lovely in my colorful home! I will have a tough time choosing just one, but I’m sure I can do it if I am lucky enough to win!
oh, that beautiful purple one, I am pretty sure I’d repaint a room just for that lamp….
I would love add the blue lamp to my living room.
The teal is just gorgeous! This lamp would go great on my
Constantly growing collection of mid century modern inspired
Decor!!! Love love love!
I love the peacock blue! My grandma has the a couple of Blenko pieces in almost the same color and I have loved them since I was a little girl.
We’ve been trying to figure out a lamp for a side table in the living room of our ’57 tri-level. I think the clear glass might do best, as we haven’t decided what paint/wallpaper to use in the room.
The blue would look perfect in my living room!
The blue! I have two carafes in blue that would go with and would love a lamp to match. !!!!!!!!
I am boring, I like the clear cylinder table lamp. It would look perfect on my mcm cellarette!
Want it. Need it. Love it
I’m feeling blue…
I want my friends to be green with envy.
Oh my gosh, that blue one would look gorgeous in my living room! I have no celing lights, only lamps so I try to find cute and stylish ones and that fits the bill!
I LOVE the Blenko lamps- I would go for green base with linen shade. I bought a mid-century modern house this year and have been working to decorate it with colors that compliment the original accents (fern green).
This lamp would look great in our home because I’ve been looking for the perfect lamp for our guest room!!
This lamp would look great in our living room, atop one of our Lane tables. We need to add a little more blue to the room.
I would love one of these! It’s been a dark couple years, so I am trying to fill my home with beauty and light.
The peacock color would look FAB in my house because nothing brightens a room like light hitting colored glass!
My MCM needs some mojo.
The peacock lamp w/ the burlap shade would do wonders for our living room. Gorgeous!
The lamps are great. Would go well with my mid century decor.
This lamp would look as good in my home as it would in anyones… I Dig it.
The green one, I like anything green. Maybe it would be tall enough to set on my glass table. Plus I already have cobalt, clear and turqouise Blenko so a different color is always welcome.
Love the lamps! I really like the green glass one, but I think I’d like it with one of the lighter shades, especially the white one. It’d go great in my house just because I like it! Thanks, Pam!
I would love one of these lamps! I love the peacock blue color!
Be still, my heart!
I collect the vintage decanters/bottles – have for years. These would MATCH all of my bottles in my living room. I would choose the Emerald Decanter light, as I have many Emerald Decanters!! Swoon!
Any one of these lamps would provide a much needed dose of color and cheer to my living room this winter!
How does one choose between the green and the blue? Here’s a solution…perhaps I need two!!!!
OH HOW I LOVE ME SOME LAMP
I need the blue one!
This lamp would look great in my house because I have a golden Blenko-like lamp on my nightstand and would love to have the wheat colored lamp come be its friend!
How would I ever choose? They’re all so pretty.
OooOOOOOoo I just checked out the website and am in LURVE with the amethyst wave lamp! My condo has a wall of windows and the sun shining through these would look amazing!
Those lamps are gorgeous! I love the peacock color.
Hugh fan of both Rejuvination and Blenko – what a great combination! I’m color blind but I’m told the Amethyst lamp with a black shade would look stellar in our 60′s retro clasic living room – that is of course after we complete the fix of our 60′s retro plumbing and foundation…
I have an entire basement to furnish-and the blue would really look nice!
The clear lamp would make a lovely addition to my living room. We bought my grandparents’ mid-century modest ranch in June and have been making it our own without changing the character of the house (or in the kitchen’s case, without even changing the apple wallpaper my grandpa put up!). The living room is a warm and cozy space with an organic feel that would be really complemented by the clear lamp, and one of the things we haven’t done since moving in is BUY LAMPS! So it would fulfill a need as well as a desire.
I’m so happy this contest is for a cylinder lamp. That’s the one I would choose. Peacock blue, of course, to go in our upstairs peacock & kiwi bedroom. Burlap shade.
I’ve been a Retro Renovation fan and a Rejuvenation fan since forever. Our house is full of Rejuvenation lights and hardware already. What a thrill it would be to add this lamp!
This collection is the perfect blend of classic and modern – bold colors without sacrificing light! I’d love to buy a pair to replace my teal shade bedroom lamps which look beautiful but are difficult to read by. The teal cylinders would be just the ticket to maintain and update my decor!
I <3 the gold base. Gorgeous and would look fantastic in my living room!
I would LOVE one of the blue ones for my living room. We bought our mid-century house almost a year ago and haven’t bought any lamps for it. It has tons of really bad overhead lighting, so maybe winning one of these lamps would help jumpstart our much-needed lighting makeover!
These are beautiful! Oh my! If I was lucky enough to win I would have a hard time choosing, they are all so beautiful and would look great on the Heywood Wakefield table that we have that needs a lamp. Thanks to you and Blenko!
Ooooh so pretty. I want the green one with the black shade in the first picture. Love!!
Oooh! Love them all, but the green lamp would look especially beautiful in my bedroom- the walls are a pale purple and I lovelovelove purple and green together!
The teal one would look awesome in my green/orange/teal living room. And it would be the perfect piece to kick-off my future Blenko collection!
olive and ivory, because everything else I own matches the peacock and I need some contrast! i love blenko.
Have tried piecing together a vintage look with modern lamps (we’re working our way out of debt so we have to be cheap) and a truly authentic lamp would be fantastic!
I live in a “Tiny House.” About 300 sq ft. With such limited space, I’m extremely discriminating about what I new items I bring in, asking myself always “does this pass the tiny house test?” That means: a) I love it, b) it’ll fit, c) it’ll help my tiny house transcend tiny, proving that small and sustainable can still be fabulous. These lamps pass the tiny house test!
i used to live in portland and sincerely miss shopping at rejuvenation. a blenko lamp would be a nice reminder of that fabulous store! too many choices! either wheat weave, turquoise carafe, or amethyst wave.
I would love to have a Blenko lamp for my super dark living room. Can’t decide between clear or peacock. Fingers crossed!
It would be the clear one for me! This would great replacing the Target lamp we currently have in the living room!
My gosh these are GORG!! I want them all, but if I had to chose, I guess I’d have to opt for the peacock! It would look simply UH-MAY-ZING showing off next to my newly restored 1960 oxblood/dusty rose living room suite! They seriously need each other. Seriously.
We’ve been living for 6 months with only one lamp in the living room as I have yet to find the perfect glass lamp. Done! I don’t know which color I’d pick, but the clean, simplicity of this lamp would look great on our 1965 casual rambler living room.
My husband of 30+ years passed away. Gonna move to small place…this lamp would be great start to new life!
The peacock color is DIVINE. Love. love. love. Would match the throw pillows and rock the room up a few notches!
Because the light streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows of our 1953 Cliff May “Rancho” would make the most of Blenko glass. And at night, one of these babies would be the star of the show in our rumpus room! *fingers crossed*
These Blenko glass lamps are beautiful! They are statement lamps! I would have to choose the lamp in peacock or the clear. Our living room which is more brown leathery and masculine needs some brightness and maybe even more color to soften it.
The Peacock green seems to be coming out a lot of people’s favorite- and it’s mine too! I can’t believe I don’t own any table lamps. One floor lamp is it! Deliver us from the darkness, oh random number generator, and pick meeeeee!
(and I’ll probably just go buy one, too
My mid-century modest house would blush at having something so fancy adorning it. Not a rhinestone but a diamond!
I could tell you why a Blenko lamp would look great in my home, but honestly, they are just so gorgeous they’d look great in any environment. What I will tell you is, I’m in love with these lamps and, well, should anything get in the way of love?
Thank you for this great opportunity, RetroRenovation and Rejuvenation. So glad to see the lamps in production and widely available to all of us enthusiasts! I think I’d select the clear lamp, to shine light on my 100+ piece Blenko collection! Take a peek here:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/spins_lps/7174638591/
Good luck, everyone! Winner, please send us a picture of the lamp once you’ve placed it in your home. Sounds like you all have a special place to put it!
I would go for the turquoise, love it!
My mom collected Blenko in the early 60s. I still have her green crackle decanter with a clear with white snowy streaks stopper that I treasure. I am surprised at today’s value of it, they were not that costly back then, or we wouldn’t have been able to afford them.
The Wheat Flare Table Lamp is absolutely stunning! All of them are! I love mixing new and vintage items — what a perfect way to incorporate something new (and lovely!) with vintage MCM decor.
Peacock, without question! My entire house is a combination of greens, blues, greenish-blues, and bluish-greens!
Oh, fun! Well, let me say that we have been on the lookout for a new table lamp for our living room and have yet to find just the right one. But, I think a Blenko cylinder lamp in olive with an ivory shade would be just the perfect pop of color in our (currently kinda dark) mid-century modest home!
All these lamps would look great in my house because I enjoy adding fun retro details. Love all the colors!
This lamp would look great in my living room to help balance out the chrome and wood I’ve got going on!
I just bought new curtains for my living room and one of these lamps would compliment them perfectly! They are stunning!
I love these lamps, but especially the olive wave. I just bought a house in Portland, Oregon and frankly it could use a lot of help! This lamp would bring everything together. Being a “mid century marvel” myself, I love this look. Since I live so close, I could ride my bike over to get it, saving the shipping costs, which you could donate for Hurricane Sandy relief. I already know about “Rejuvenation”, because my daughter and son in law have purchased, towel bars, lights, house #s and even their door bell from them. Great local company with great designs. I would truly love to win any of these lamps. They are all beautiful. Thanks for bringing them back!
I absolutely love Blenko glass! I drive down to WV for all of their events! If you haven’t visited their gift shop, it’s well worth the trip! The olive or peacock would stunning in my home next to my green couch! They will also fit right in with my Blenko collection! Thanks so much for the chance to win one of these beautiful lamps!
One of the blues. Anyone is fine. I’ll build the room around it. Why I need one? People say my house is like a cave due to lack of light. So, another lamp seems called for. Thanks for the chance to win!
…sorry, I’m drooling on my keyboard, making it hard to type out that I want BLUE…or amber…or green…no purple…any colour would be stupendous… yay Canadians are eligible…woo woo.
Would go plum crazy for an amythest lamp. So beautiful!
Because those lamps would look great in ANY house!
I have a hard time picturing a house these wouldn’t look nice in, but they would definitely complement the Blenko I’ve collected and the pieces I’ve inherited from my grandmother nicely!
I love the blue, have a nice day!
These are amazing! It’s such a toss up between Peacock and Olive, but I’d go for peacock to add that beautiful pop of blue/green to my 60′s tiki/Polynesian living room! Definitely would choose the burlap shade to tie in all the wood/browns of my living room
The Clear Flare Table Lamp is absolutely amazing and would look stunning in our living room, next to our Grete Jalk couch! I can’t wait to win!
because the colors would work great with what we have going, and we’d be thrilled to have a US made lamp!

sorry my last email had a typo
because the clear bases give a sense of weightlessness and space
A beautiful Blenko lamp would help me get through the winter doldrums, for sure. And any of those lovely colors would do!
A Blenko glass lamp would look great in my house because–Just look at them! They’re gorgeous!
A beautiful Blenko lamp would look great in my house because it would join the vintage Blenko I’ve been buying whenever I find a piece I can afford. I love Blenko and thank you for the opportunity to win one of these beauties. As for color, I’m torn between the peacock, turquoise or olive bases. They’re all just gorgeous!
The Ice Blue Round table lamp had me at hello! The colour and texture of that glass, not to mention the finial! It’d be the perfect touch in our living room.
Ooh! I’m in! Love these!
Love the look of these lamps!
For those of us who have special collections of art glass, a Blenko lamp really would be a fine addition to our households.
The gold one has my name written all over it!
Those finials are where it’s at, baby!
I would love to have something so fancy in my house. It would look great nestled on top of one of my midcentury tables. Plus, they wouldn’t even have to ship! I could just go pick it up!
The peacock with a black shade would be dramatic.
This lamp would look absolutely stunning grouped with the Alvar Aalto glass pieces I have collected over the years. Something to add some pzazz to the place!
Is that what that colour is? Peacock? So gorgeous, and my favourite colour in the world. I would love one of these gorgeous lamps in that colour. Sigh …
Peacock or olive or peacock or olive or olive or peacock????!!!!!! Our orange one room loft home is just begging me to add a shot of blue into the mix while the avocado bed”room” and bath are saying, c’mon, we’d be so good together! I’m drooling over the new blenko line : )
Where wouldn’t they look great? I can picture the clear one in my bedroom as a super classy reading lamp.
My daughter would love one of these lovelies in her room. She loves color to “pop” so she would want the bright, rich blues, purples, limes or reds. She is a beauty herself, inside and out, and deserves to be surrounded by it.
I like the green one with a white shade!
Any one of these exquisite lamps would look beautiful in my sunroom along side my “wall of glass” collection of italian and American contemporary glass. Yes, I have several beautiful pieces of Blenko.
The peacock is gorgeous!
This lamp would like great on my Dunbar credenza!
I’d love a clear Blenko glass lamp for my unique bird’s eye maple end table (with curly wrought iron base) in my living room (currently under renovation). My grandfather (also a West Virginian) loved the table and loved Blenko glass.
The green will look perfect in my yellow kitchen with my green Bascal aluminumware!
I would love the teal glass lamp for my office!
Beautiful lamps! I’d love one on one of the side tables that catches the sunrise–how beautiful the light would look filtered through the glass!
I brought a lamp at an estate sale that would love to have one of these lamps be his wife.
Blenko lamps are awesome…this is my first look at these great lamps! We have a 1950 un-remodeled on raised ranch furnished rather eclectically. So, that olive green is bang on for our home. I always look at olive as a neater shade of neutral.
I have a mid century loving Airedale terrier waiting to stare at a gorgeous new lamp!
Have always loved Blenko lamps! Very cool contest!
So beautiful! After a long couple of days with my electrician removing all the knob-and-tube wiring from my house, I broke my favorite lamp while cleaning up afterward. I admit I shed tears. I’d love to be cheered up with one of these!
I’m doing a 50′s, 60′s, 70′s mashup in my house and I’m sure one of these lamps would feel warm and cozy in my eclectic mix of styles from my younger days.
Good luck everyone!!!
This would top off our wonderful, newly owned 1956 ranch in Tucson! The lamps would be perfect next to the new Thrive couch and chair that were just delivered!
Turquoise, peacock—THAT color! Probably tan or black shade. I have turquoise/peacock blue accents throughout my house, I never tire of that color. Add Blenko glass to the mix and I’d stare at it all day!
What a great giveaway!
I am in LOVE with the peacock cylinder lamp with the linen ivory shade. Please.
I think a chartreuse colored lamp would be perfect in my paneled basement which my husband hasn’t finished yet. Nontheless these Blenko lamps would be gorgeous, any color at all, anywhere in my home. Thank you much, Pam, for providing these giveaways for us!
My wife would love the clear lamp…ok….I would too! Gorg.
The peacock blue lamp would match a vintage lamp that I own perfectly, and tie my living room together.
One of these lamps would look perfect on my Herman Miller desk. I have been searching for just the right lamp.
The peacock blue/green is glorious! It would pull the aqua from my kitchen into the living room. Sigh.
I’d like a peacock blue lamp just for more intense color in an otherwise light-colored room
That peacock cylinder lamp would look amazing next to my new Thrive sofa on the 2 tier walnut side table I found at the second hand store! I’ve been looking for the perfect lamp and this is IT! Thanks for the chance to win.

Oh Pam – I am happy that the contest is open to Canada
I would choice the middle Blenko glass lamp with the cream/white shade to be placed on a daybed side table. I am in the process of collecting various shapes and sizes of picture frames and mirrors that I will be painting in aqua/gold fleck for a feature wall behind the daybed in my spare bedroom at home. It all started with a wooden head of a elephant in aqua/gold fleck. So the beautiful Blenko lamp would be perfect.
I personally like the olive the most, but peacock we fit best for where I would imagine mine. I’d go for a black linen shade either way.
Forgot to mention where: it would work great on the double tier end table in the living room; the peacock matches the sofa and the wood base would complement the table. Plus no overhead light, so more lamps are always needed in there.
Alas do I diverge from the trend and choose amber, or perhaps the smoke? Either would look fabby in the front room; maybe even lending some illumination to my Mother-in-law’s favorite chair in the corner. (** note: I do not MAKE her sit in the corner!). A wee bit of Blenko cheerfulness to offset her mood when I’ve once again chosen to paint a room orange over beige. Thanks for the contest Pam, it should be illuminating!
OMG…the Emerald Carafe Table Lamp is making me drool uncontrollably!
hooray! Lamp Made in the USA!
I need the peacock with a black shade for my living room please. Btw, thanks for such a great website. Totally free of snark, cynicism, and rude commenters which is rare.
O.M.G.! I’m so happy that they have brought back these lamps. A turquoise one would just look stunning here at the Fungalow. Unfortunately, I’m so poor right now I can barely pay attention so… fingers (and toes) crossed!
Oooh, I love these. It would look great because it would compliment my collection of blue bottles. Thus I would probably choose blue but that green is gorg.
At this moment I cannot decide on a color, but really any of them would be amazing to have.
Beautiful lamps! I am glad they are bringing them back! Made in USA rocks!
Can I pick one of each? They are all seriously gorgeous and would look fabulous in anyone’s house. The Turquoise Carafe Table Lamp does speak to me though.
I would decorate around it!
OHMYGOSH peacock with the black shade. YUMMY. any shade of aqua is my favorite.
Oh my!!! Blenko made crackle glass, which I collect, so this lamp would be super cool in my sitting room under all my glass. I Love all the lamps, but turquoise is my favorite with the neutral shade. Thanks for such a great site!!!! Michele
Pick me! Pick me!
Choosing a winner is more fun than choosing a candidate, right?
Peacock, with black shade, of course!
I’d love to see how one of these lamps would look in my room with full southern exposure.
Rejuvenation’s mid century modern collection is fantastic, and I have the perfect spot for one of their Blenko lamps!!!
Thanks, Retro Renovation!!!
love love love these lamps!!!!!!!
This would be the jewelry for my room!!!! Love the colors, shapes and the glass finials on top!!! These will never go out of style!!! Made in my beloved USA, perfect.
I would choose the clear glass cylinder lamp with the burlap shade so I can use it in any room of my house!!
thanks for the opportunity!!!
Ranell
I would love the Peacock color! My house has all shades of blue, especially turquoise, and this would look great in my TV room to add another pop of color.
Hello, This lamp would look great in my 1954 ranch house!
Love the lamps! Not too many of us MCMers here in Mississippi, but I am #1 fan of all things gorgeous! Would love to have any color/shade to go with my chartreuse walls in my 50′s ranch! Help bring back style to the deep south!
Wow, a pair of these lamps in turquoise with neutral shades would look gorgeous in my living room where I currently display 9 Blenko bottles!
Thanks for the contest!
The Richland Rd. Ranchette needs some snappy lighting!
This lamp will look great in my house because I don’t have any lamps, and I don’t like most that I find! Classy yet playful, they are just like my decorating style.
Wow! These are so beautiful! I would love to have one!
Love! the Peacock w/ burlap shade is the perfect finishing touch for my slightly retro/beach cottage-inspired guest room!
I would love to make a significant design statement with one of these gorgeous lamps. The hardest part is settling on a color combination! If I am lucky enough to win, I think I’d go for peacock.
Amber with a black shade would be perfect in my 1950s era apartment – it would look sooooo sweet next to the Shoji screen!
ME, PLEASE!!!! I have to have it!!! I will die without it! LOL, OK, I won’t really die… but I must have the Turquoise Carafe Lamp, with the light colored shade…
) hmmmmm, so hard to choose!
Those lamps are gorgeous. I would love to win one! Thank you!
I would love to win one to place on the opposite end table so my original will finally have a companion! Pick Me! Pick ME!
Ohhh my…….how fabulous would this look!!! November 19 I close on my sprawling 1951 mid century ranch. This could be my inspiration for all the color splashes. Hooray for pink bathrooms and boomerang formica! I want, I want…..please and thank you!
My husband absolutely LOVES Blenko glass. I always have plans to buy him something for Christmas, but there always seems to be a house project that has to come first.
These are gorgeous lamps! Would love to surprise him with one!
Oh my would it be hard to choose from all the beautiful combinations…one would look great in our living room!
Olive with black shade is the one for me. It would go perfectly on some thrift store tables I found last year, but there are two end tables, so I guess that means a purchase as well. They all look great.
Either the peacock or olive would look amazing in my living room (which was just painted yesterday!)
I have been restoring my 1959 ranch inch by inch bringing it back from years of Home Depot “path of least resistance” style. Miles (it feels like) of mahogany trim have been hand sanded and finished. Mahogany doors all refinished. I built a new front door myself to replace the most GOD-AWFUL aboration of a door. Hardwood floors have been refinished (by me) and the “hall of urine” hardwood floor has been replaced. I just found and purchased a 1965 Zenith hi-fi consol with louvered speaker doors which absolutely needs this Blenko lamp to make it sparkle.
These are fantastic! I’m sure that my other half would really appreciate one of these over our current lamp from IKEA. It is really exciting that they are American made. I’d have to go with either Peacock or Green, with a black shade.
Anyone of those beautiful lamps would find a visible spot in my house to be admired but the blue stands out…or the purple…yellow’s nice too…like I say…anyone of them.
One of these turquoise Blenko lamps with the beautiful Finial would make my house SING!
I like the blues yes I yes I do!:} )
So gorgeous! This lamp (cannot.decide.on.color) would look great in my MCM-styled house… LR or next up project, MBR… bc how could it not? Too beautiful!!
A peacock cylander lamp with an ivory shade would make me atomically glassy-eyed.
I would happily re-do the living room for the peacock, but the Amethyst Wave would be instant yum with the barkcloth drapes in my bedroom!
These lamps are lovely! I was excited when I read your earlier post about them.
The clear round table lamp would be a “clear” choice for any room in my house. It is so versatile and timeless, I would use it forever.
These lamps are just so unique and all the different colors are awesome, would really make a statement in my office!
These lamps are all gorgeous, but the Turquoise Carafe lamp would go perfectly with my three-piece blonde 1950′s bedroom suite.
Beautiful lamps, with a great mid century modern look!
One of the lamps that’s been in this new-to-me house for decades recently got broken! I’d love to replace it with a beautiful, classic lamp like this!
The emerald color is exquisite and look great by my vintage sofa.
Classic look, modern design, incredible glowing colors… and the cherry on top is the amazing finial. Gotta have one!
Amethyst wave for my bedroom. Sexy! Love rejuvenation fixtures!
I love Benko glass and I’ve collected it for years. A new Blenko lamp is a must have in my house. It would be a great addition to my midcentury modern collection.
This lamp would look great in my house because I am a lover of lamps, so s/he would have lots of good company!
I would love the cylinder lamp in peacock! The lamp is gorgeous and would make an awesome addition to any retro or mid-century modern home!
I love them all, but I would have to go for the yellow lamp. Would look stunning in my living room!
So thrilled to find your website & have ideas for keeping my 1960′s house looking wonderful. Then to find out I could possibly win a Blenko lamp — be still my beating heart — life is just too good. I am sure I could be happy with any one you sent me. I love Blenko glass!
These are great. I think I would choose the peacock if I win.
Oooh the olive with the black would be my choice, love it!!!
Oh my, what a joy it would be to have one of these, perhaps the Wheat Wave Table Lamp, to accompany the Blenko pieces we have. They were purchased mostly in the 50′s, with one authentic, more recent addition, and they were all “signed” (etched) on the bottoms by Richard Blenko when he was at our local florist and Blenko dealer in our home town in 2010! It truly was a pleasure meeting him, discussing the history of our items, and leafing through a Blenko book to find pictured the items we have. There are several such books at our local library.
Sorry – just noticed – the olive cylinder lamp would be my choice. Thank you!
P.S. No doubt if I were to win a Blenko lamp, our son, Troysf, would want to be the proud owner some day!
I really, really like the green lamp and it would look stunning in my family room and definitely get noticed. While I don’t have the MCM look, which I love, this lamp would work with my decor. Thanks for bringing them to our attention.
Homesick! i need a little bit of Oregon here in Connecticut!
Gorgeous lamps! The peacock with the ivory shade would look great in my living room–I’ve got just the place.
Mmmmmmm, the turquoise carafe with the ivory linen shade would look so nice with our walnut tables and sixties sofa and chair. Very classy!
The teal color is divine. All are lovely!
The peacock cylinder would look amazing in my turquoise bedroom, plus I have nothing but overhead lighting and am in serious need of mood lighting!
As usual, Rejuvenation does it again. So happy that they are continuing to add to their modern line. The peacock blue would look great in my den!
The turquoise cylinder lamp with the black shade would be perfect in my bedroom with my new-to-me vintage blue chenille bedspread. I collect Blenko bottles as well, and have several in turquoise and amethyst in this same room.
Love it! A turquoise blue lamp with linen shade would be perfect in my living room.
Oh, I so wanna!!! Any and all would look terrific……I’ll have to contemplate which I would choose from these beautiful lamps! Thanks to everyone for such a generous giveaway.
I would love a new pretty lamp for my living room and these are incredible!!
Love these! The blue would look great in my bedroom.
I love the olive with the burlap shade. Not that I have a place to put it . . . yet. It would match wonderfully with the living room in my head!
I am a self described lampaholic… I feel the need for one of those swank turquoise-y curvy ones with a matching finial thingy. So yummy!
http://www.rejuvenation.com/catalog/products/blenko-handblown-peacock-cylinder-table-lamp?category_id=5092cc90d5593071160000a5
Peacock with the Black Linen Shade in my bedroom! Although I’m not a morning person, I’ve love to see this lamp on my nightstand when my alarm clock goes off. Classic and timeless.
I have to admit I had mixed reactions to these at first, but knowing that these are being made in the USA with the glass coming from Blenko in West Virginia just like the originals changes everything.
They are all so stunning it’s really hard to pick a favorite. The Wheat Flare and the Turquoise Carafe are the are the two I seem to keep going back to over and over, imagining how stunning either would look in the entryway of my living room.
At least the shade is an easy selection, the Natural Burlap is perfection. The configuration option on the Rejuvenation site that lets you try out the different shade for all the Blenko lamps is also very helpful… not to mention fun.
My circa 1978 house didn’t get Blenko lamp the first time around so maybe now is the time.
thanks for all you mid-century news.
rick S
I love Blenko glass. My family used to drive very close to the factory in West Virginia on the way to see my grandmother when I was a kid in the late 60′s, early 70′s. I can remember several times when my folks would stop and we would take the tour and watch the glass items being hand blown and shaped. I loved watching the hot glass being formed. The Olive Cylinder Table Lamp would look great in my 30′s Aladdin Kit house. Enjoyed looking at all of these on the link. They are so beautiful.
Any of these lamps would look great in my recently purchased MCM home.
These lamps are gorgeous! I’d love to have one in Turquoise to brighten up my white 60s faux-cane furniture, passed on to my by my grandma.
My husband and I are awaiting vendor approval on our short sale offer on a groovy 1970s split-level. We are planing to furnish it with mid-century modern furniture and accessories, with an organic modern twist. The clear cylinder lamp with the wavy design would accent our plans for a living room perfectly. The brass center rod matches our other lamps and the “color” doesn’t distract from the rest of the room. This seems to be a very versatile line that would work with many different interior design styles for decades to come.
That black shade and amber/green base would be perfect with my black and green terrazzo floors!
Definitely the Olive! We have lots of olivey green, orange, and brown, and it would look awesome nex to either the recliner or sofa.
The wheat wave with the burlap (beige?) shade would feel right at home with our vintage lamps and Heywood-Wakefield end tables.
I’d have to go with the Peacock cylinder with a black shade for our bedroom. It’s just dreamy!
One of these would look so cozy next to my home’s original wood built-ins.
Perfect timing…my new puppy just destroyed my old lamp, and one of these would make a great replacement!
I love the emerald Carafe model with the black linen shade, but the clear Cylinder model with ivory linen shade would really be the best for my home. I live in a 1955 prefab pseudo Eichler house with the original birch plywood panelling in the living and eating areas, and I always have to be careful to choose furniture that will play happily with the panelling and 50′s style, and not be bling divas that fight to get all the attention in the room…. the clear glass cylinder lamp would definitely work well here.
LOVE! I would pick the turquoise lamp with the white shade for my living / dining room. It would loo WONDERFUL with my Viking glass collection! ( or maybe the purple…oooo, decisions, decisions!)
An artisnal glass lamp USA made! AWESOME!!
WOW, love muchly. Even if I don’t win, I will have a lovely green lamp to go with my cool curved 2 piece sofa from my childhood. Made in America, bonus!
This is very exciting, and made in America too! I love the wheat flair lamp with the black shade. It would be such an excellent addition to my 1964 brick rambler home!
I love the wheat flare with the burlap shade. To me, this screams retro and would go great on my 1962 Drexel Pinnacle nightside table. Since the cylinder lamp design doesn’t come in wheat, I’d have to go with the next best thing, which is olive. It is great that many companies are now embracing retro designs and in this case, reviving their own designs.
I would like one of each, but by the sime my name is picked I’ll finalize my selection!!!!
O.M.Goodness!!! A BLENKO LAMP??!!! Be still my heart!! I love Blenko (my owl bookends) and would thrill to have retro lamp by Blenko. I love the PEACOCK color with a cream or light color shade. It would be something cool and brilliant in my pink living room!! Thanks to you and Rejuvenation for this AWESOME giveaway! OOH!!!
LOVE these lamps, especially the turquoise one, which would look fantastic in “my new” old bedroom : )
The turquoise cylinder would be a lovely lamp for my reading nook. I’m a big fan of Rejuvenation, too, and purchased my front door hardware from them recently.
Blenko olive round table lamp with white shade sings to my 1970s house, and my house sings back. Harmony!
Oh, that’d be a lovely addition to our 1957 tract home. It’s not the most exciting MCM architecture, but we still have the original tiled bath & kitchen, and we’re working on rehabbing some period Danish teak furniture for the living room.
Wonderful! Blenko is my favorite
I’m in love with the peacock cylinder lamp with a white shade! It would look perfect next to my bed and the hot pink backdrop on my accent wall. I just bought my home and I’m looking to fill it up with beauty items like this lamp!
Ha. I “need” a lamp because I have married and disposed of my husband’s furniture. I am a longtime fan of Blenko glass and glad they persist. Thanks to Rejuvenation for carrying Blenko!
Pure Made-in-USA retro grooviness! Blenko, my home is yours. =o)
The Peacock Cylinder Table Lamp would look great in my 1920′s bungalow, especially in the dining room, since the walls are painted a similar blue. I also have vintage peacock wall hangings as well as peacock feathers in a flower arrangement. I am completely an antique, vintage, retro person!
Blenko rocks! I need one because we live in a 1930s house with no overhead lighting — and it’s never bright enough As for color and shape, I started to say turquoise, then I thought, “no, clear.” Then I looked at all the colors and shapes and decided that every one was great!
The olive with either the white or burlap shade would be lovely. Just getting ready to re-do a portion of my living room that I am reclaiming after getting rid of a baby grand piano that was being “temporarily” stored there for the last 17 years!
Blenko glass lamps…love!!!!
Made in the USA? And retro gorgeousness? Does it get any better than that?????? Any of those aqua colored lamps would be right at home in my house!
ooh, I think I would have to go with the turquoise carafe lamp. especially love the glass finial on top!
Hoping to win a fabulous lamp to replace the estate-sale find that recently broke.
I would pick the Olive Green cylinder lamp. I have a 1964 ranch and while my decor is sort of eclectic, I love the mid-century look. Also, my parents used to collect Blenco glass and it would be a great reminder of their love glass and art!
May I have the Turquoise with White Shade please?
(After all, I am a “Winter” and look best in jewel tones.)
Thanks muchly!
What a wonderful thing to offer! I just started my own business as a psychotherapist working exclusively with women recovering from addiction. The peacock cylinder lamp with the natural burlap shade would go wonderfully on my desk and warm the hearts of my clients. Many thanks to you and Rejuvenation for such a generous offer!
I would chose the Peacock Cylinder Lamp with the Black shade. I love how sleek it looks and would blend in perfectly with my decor.
OK, I just heard a lecture on a glass factory that burned down in the 1820s – reminding me what a long history our country has with blown glass.
I haven’t got a clue where I would put one of these babies, but I would just make the space because I love the tradition and love the look of that turquoise rascal with the black linen shade!
I love these lamps! I just got new furniture and haven’t gotten a new lamp yet!
Oh. My. Help. What a beautiful set of lamps! I’m pretty much speechless! I’d love to win a turquoise Carafe table Lamp for our turquoise and green bedroom! So absolutely beautiful! Thanks for the chance to win!
I have some Blenko pieces in my Mid-Mod collection. They’re beautiful and timeless. A lamp…..I’m thinking in peacock with the natural burlap shade…..would be quite nice in our 50′s ranch. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
Love the best the Peacock cylinder lamp for my ’59 ranch-style living room. Its style marries nicely with my Craftsman furniture. You can see through it past the big sliders into the backyard. Its gorgeous color complements the orange in the flagstone fireplace. Yummy!
One of these clear lamps would be the perfect lighting option for the top of our vintage Zenith walnut stereo consul that sits against our window wall looking out to the Puget Sound. The glass body would not obstruct the view while adding style and light!
Love the turquoise lamp
I dont know how i could ever choose just one but I would love the opportunity to try!
Simply Pretty!! We would LOVE to acquire several of these blenko lamps..any and ALL colors are welcome for our archive for our newly launched prop house in brooklyn called prettyprops.com..!!
thanks for your whimsical site!! i’m always amazed at your resourcefulness…well done..
The turquoise base with a light shade would look beautiful in my 1960 house. It would accent my terracotta-colored textured plaster walls as well as my turquoise glass collection. Beautiful lamps!
Slowly added rejuvenation lighting where originals dont exist in my 1920s house. My only lamp is an old copper and hide craftsman style. I need a few more cool lamps. WV glass can’t be beat!
Love!! One of these will look great in my house as I have a hard time finding a good looking lamp and I have some lovely eames-styled fabric that I’ll use to make a cover.
I think I would choose the olive. The peacock is gorgeous but the walls of my living room–and it would have to be in my living room to show it off–are already a strong blue color. A different strong blue. The olive is just gorgeous, and would set off my beach-inspired living room. There’s nothing overtly beachy in there, just the tan of the sand, blue of the sea, white of the clouds, yellow for the sun and now some green for the beach grass, Also some sparkle like the ocean in the sun, and this Blenko lamp would add to it. And as a practical matter, we really could use another lamp in there, but I can’t find one that I like that I can afford (I’m out of work.)
Cheers, Debra
I’d be grateful to see any of the Blenko Cylinder lamps in my new home – it would take me awhile to decide which color!
I have adored mid century design since my Dad 1st installed the love by teaching me about Elvis while he’d drive me around in his 56 Chevy as a kid. (He still has the car! Yay!) My husband and I have been fledgling mid-century collectors since we met in 1996, but we recently moved into our 1956 dream ranch and have amped it all up a notch. I am now collecting all things mid-century, aquiring primarily through my obessive scouting of Goodwill, Salvation Army, Habitat Restore, Craigslist and then applying some elbow grease… but alas, I have yet to secure a piece of Blenko. That Peacock Lamp would look oh-so swanktastic in my bedroom, on the Hey-Wake lamp table I am refinishing….. ah, to dream! Adore your site and the free & fun exchange of info from you and the readers, always!
Hi, my choice is the clear flare lamp with a natural shade. Our front room has a sectional manufactured in ’65, and this lamp would look great with it. Thanks.
A Blenko lamp would fit in perfectly at my 1968 split level masonite house! An olive or clear one would be lovely.
Inheriting two vintage Danish Modern chairs has inspired me to feature them in some redecorating. Had yet to find the perfect lamp until I
received this info about winning a great Blenko lamp! The
peacock cylinder table lamp with the ivory linen shade would work
great with my planned color scheme!
I love the peacock and the aqua. I suppose I will have to decide when the time comes. Any of these would look great with my Heywood Wakefield furniture and my original vintage Blenko vases.
Ooh! Ooh! ME me me! I need turquoise lamp with the burlap shade.
I need it for my life.
That is all.
Hmmm…it’s a toss up between the Ice Blue Round Table Lamp and the Peacock Cylinder Table Lamp. The lines and colors of both are very contemporary and retro at the same time. The harder part would be picking which room they would go in, since my living room and bedroom have very similar palettes. I like the classic drum style shade as well; a shape that fits in virtually anywhere!
I would choose the wonderful turquoise lamp with the white shade. We’re beginning refurbishing a bank owned mid century modern condo. This would be a super start for our living room.
My heart is pounding with all of the choices…but I love the Peacock Cylinder lamp in blue with a black shade….and it would look great in my house because I don’t have any lamps…none.
Oh these are ALL so beautiful! If I were to win, I’d choose the peacock one with the burlap shade. I have a whole collection of peacock colored glass and this would look amazing!
I love the turquoise cylinder with the white shade. I live in a 1962 split level and have a room with a turquoise accent wall. I already have a turquoise ginger jar, but my lamp is a black wrought iron that doesn’t really do justice to the room.
I would choose the turquoise carafe lamp. I grew up with a lamp like that and since I moved to North Carolina 10 years and bought my own mid-century gem, I have been busy recreating the house I grew up in. Much of the recreation is the overall ambiance but I have managed to find many pieces that are exact pieces.. This lamp would be the showplace of my living room!
The Peacock cylindar with black shade would look wonderful in my home!
I love the peacock table lamp – I’m redoing my living room and this would look just fabulous with the other colors i’ve picked out!
Beautiful! Any of these would look great in my 1956 ranch. I promise to give it a great home.
Timeless and simple elegance, that is the look I have bee working on since last year. Theses lamps fit the look i am going for 100%.
Hand blown glass ! ! ! These Blenko lamps are ALL GORGEOUS . . . the Olive Wave would rock the heck out of my olive colored living room! Thanks, Rejuvenation, for this wonderful line!
Beautiful! Exactly what we need in our 50′s ranch in the dining room (no overhead lighting in there) Please, can we have it?
I would get the turquoise one. It would go great in my living room that has chartreuse walls and turquoise accents. I can’t decide which shade I like the best though!
Love these lamps!!! And Blenko is from the midwest, not far form where I live.
I would choose the turquoise carafe lamp with the ivory linen shade. The color would work perfectly in my house!
I’d want the clear one with the burlap shade for my dining room…because it would work SO nicely with the Rejuvenation Cove I just put in my kitchen which is open to the DR. (House s a ranch built in 1966).
I own a gorgeous Blenko art glass globe I bought in the early 80s. I put it on layaway at a small art shop and it took me a YEAR to pay for it – I was living on minimum wages back then and it took that long. Blenko is a very classy company. ANY lamp would be wonderful
Thank you so much for offering such a lovely and generous giveaway. I would choose one of each!
I love the Peacock Cylinder Table Lamp with the Natural Burlap Shade. It would add a pop of color in my living room.
If I won, I’d choose Peacock with the Natural Burlap Shade for the guest room in my raised ranch. It would be perfect with my Tiffany Box Blue walls.
These are so beautiful-they would match the blown glass platters I have hanging on my living room wall!
After selling my mid-century modern house earlier this year I am renovating a “new” old house and going for a cool Scandinavian modern look with lots of white walls and furniture and rustic gray wood flooring and cool blue and silver accents.
The ice blue round table lamp would be perfect for my bedside table!
These lamps are terrific! Any of them would compliment by 1960 deck house, but I’m eyeing those turquoise cylinder ones!
I want the turquoise cylinder with a I Dream of Genie finial. I will be smashing next to my bed in my 1957 custom Cali rancher! My house is sweet.
OH my,Olive wave lamp, has my name on it all them curves, really want it,place it in my bedroom…Thanks martha
Ooooh….I love the turquoise cylinder lamp. It would look perfect in my office.
Ooh, ooh…amazing lamps. I’d want the olive with a black shade. Living room is painted tones of red, orange, gold, light lime green and aluminum – that lamp would go beautifully with my indoor bottle tree too (the bottles are hand blown glass from Mexico).
Wow, would look great on my 1968 Zenith floor stereo console!
Modest mod home with seriously, and saddeningly, no living room lamp! I MUST HAS!
Wow, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these lamps!! I was raised in WV! Blenko makes amazing glass!! My favorite lamp is the Turquoise Carafe Table lamp with the ivory shade. It would be perfect in my atomic ranch!
The Olive Cylinder with the Burlap shade would look awesome in the ’70′s mod Ski Lodge-style house I’m getting ready to buy.
Beautiful Lamps!!!!!!!
If I were to win – I would pick the turquoise one with the white shade, I love that combination.
The Peacock cylinder (or if it could be done in ice blue)
would be great for our WWII quinset hut/house.
We’re trying to mix colors & steel to offset the wood we
have tons of. To really bring out the era but maintain a balance
between the rustic wood, the era and the industrial
elements. My vision is to have buttery yellow walls to fit
with the warm wood and add shades of blue, maroon & metal
finishes to tie it all together. It’s going to take a while since it’s
just us working on it (our son’s only 9!!) thank you
In total lamp loooooove!
I would choose the burlap shade and either the clear glass, or lime green glass!
The turquoise or peacock lamp would look great in my reading nook!
The real question is: “How could this lamp NOT look great in my house?” I would put the lamp next to my Blenko vases!
I’d love either the olive or clear lamp for my living room. The peacock one is fantastic, but my colors would be blown away by it!
Wheat shade and emerald base – or maybe peacock – hard to say they are all great.
Oooooh, peacock cylinder with burlap, please! What a pretty and cheerful lamp series!!
The clear round lamp with a black shade would look amazing. I think the amethyst lamp is very sophisticated. I guess I would have to choose just one, it would be the ice blue round lamp with the white shade but all are beautiful.
Oh, the blue cylinder lamp; delish!
beautiful lamps indeed, i love the lavender one and actually would be pleased with any one, as green and blue could fit in here too. they are all nice. I have been looking the last few months for a few lamps but my funds have me looking for used ones. very hard to find something used and pretty in my area. thanks for the chance to win one !
Sandy
Any of those lamps would look stunning in my 1963 Eichler. They are gorgeous!
Definitely the blue cylinder. It is a light enough of a blue to work with the teals in our curtains and the greens in our furniture. Also, because it’s an awesome lamp!
What beeeaautiful lamps! Oh if I win it will be a difficult choice between the Peacock and the Olive color!!! Either one would look absolutely fab in my 1955 home! Retrorenovation, you ROCK!!
I have a large yellow vase my mum gave me from Blenko. Their pieces are truly timeless! I would love the pale blue with burlap shade, I have a 50s floor lamp with a very warped fiberglass shade and since the room is minimalistic, it will be a highlight of the decor!
We need a new lamp for the living room desperately! I would take the turquoise or acid green color
Lovin’ the Peacock cylinder lamp with the natural burlap shade. Would go great in my living room. Please pick me!
I love these lamps and am also a huge fan of rejuvenation. their products are fabulous in quality and looks. I need a classic Olive to crown my living room and save me from the sad 1990s mission reproduction (bad reproduction that is) hand-me-down lamp I am living with. It’s been hard to find one I truly like that fits into my early 50s ranch. Save me!
Beautiful! What an awesome giveaway! Thank you! If I were to win, I’d choose either Peacock with Ivory shade or Olive with Natural Burlap…depending on what room I’d decide to put it in! It’s a toss up between our bedroom (olive) or our living room (peacock). Either lamp would be a cool edition to our retro 1950′s beach house! I’ll make up my mind by time the contest is over!
These lamps contrast the furniture in my apartment nicely – the shades are not too girly (like everything else!) and the clear bases are modern enough for the boyfriend to accept
Quality is timeless! So are to choose, but eacock with the blach shade would ok my house! Thanks, Pam!
Because clearly, we ALL need a peacock lamp in our homes!
Hi,
I vote for emerald carafe. – Awesome
Such gorgeousness! The peacock or olive cylinder with a white shade would be my choice to top my dining room buffet. My fingers are crossed!
Wow, at a loss for words with these lamps….and they’re blenko!?! The peacock cylinder with burlap shade is stunning and timeless, absolutely my pick! These would look great in your home too Pam!
what a weird coincidence – here’s a REAL retro Blenko on craigslist – http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/fuo/3386731879.html .
So pretty! I’m a simple girl with simple taste, so a clear round or flare lamp with a burlap shade would make my year! Thanks Pam for an amazing site.
Pretty sure I’d have to have the olive cylinder with black shade. And the emerald is sure beautiful too.
Blenko lamp would be a conversation starter and since I have small rooms I like the idea of glass accessories.
I just bought my very first house, a 1965 rambling ranch! I am so exited to bring it back to its former glory and a beautiful olive wave table lamp with white linen shade would be a stunning piece to start things off with! Plus it would be a super fabulous housewarming gift;)
Oh How I LOVE these!! I would have the worst time choosing, but I have it narrowed to the Olive or Peacock cylinder lamps, and for a shade I like the natural burlap or ivory linen. I’m redecorating my bedroom and Livingroom so I know one of those two colors would work perfectly for me.
Thanks Pam, For the eye candy and the chance to win some!!
I am purchasing my parents’ mid century modest rental home and super excited about staying in keeping with it’s vintage character. I also love Rejuvenation and have my eye on several of their things for my home. I would love the wheat lamp with black shade. So snazzy. Beautiful lamps!
Oooh LaLa!!! The peacock with the burlap shade would be my choice! LOVE these! The colors, the lines, the authenticity!!! Hope I win! Thanks Pam and Blenko!
What a joy these beautiful lamps are! Love the rich colors & variety of shapes….. The only difficulty will be choosing which ones. AND how great that they’re made in the USA!
I would love to win one of these lamps because my best friend loves anything Blenko and it would make the best Christmas gift for him!
This lamp would be super great in my mid-century office. I can’t decide which one I like best, they are all gorgeous. AND, the finials really make these lamps pop.
I would love to win a Blenko lamp to go in our 50′s ranch home we are hoping to buy!
I need this.
I would love to win a Blenko lamp to go in my Apt with my new furniture!!!
Dearest Blenko,
As a child, I was obsessed with my grandmother’s Blenko turquoise carafe. It was almost as tall as I was and I was quite sure that a genie lived inside.
Blenko still means magic to me. I’m wishing for a genie lamp!
Love,
Barb
What a great way to add to my Blenko collection and bring that Peacock lamp in my fold. What a fantastic collection!
I’ve been looking for a peacock colored lamp and a Blenko would look great in my living room!
During Hurricane Sandy, with no power, I re-did my bedroom by flashlight. (I was really bored). I would love one of these lamps for my newly colorful bedroom (now that my power is back I’m sewing the very bright floral curtains). I love the short teal or tall orange curvy bases.
OMG OMG! The emerald carafe lamp is like a dream come true, I *need* one.
I would love the peacock cylinder lamp! My fiance and I are getting married in January, and it would be such a sweet addition to our future home.
I want so very badly to have one of these lamps in my living room. It would be perfect!
The peacock cylinder lamp would look amazing in our living room! We LOVE that color blue and it would feel right at home in our house (Ethel)!
Wow, these are gorgeous!! We just bought a house and are planning to redecorate several rooms, so I’ve been on the look-out for lamps. These would be perfect!!!
A little note–don’t know if anyone else commented on this. I was in HomeGoods today and they already have knock offs! They had glass lamps in turquoise, green with a lime tint and with an avocado tint and some clear and amber colored ones. Doesn’t take long to get the copies out, does it? Some had linen shades and some had polka dot and other print shades.
I think the cylinder lamp in the peacock color would look lovely in my sixties living room. I adore glassware and have a few vintage Blenko decanters in my dining room just adjacent to the living room. The Blenko lamp would definitely be just the right touch to tie the two rooms together!
My house is crying out for one of these lovely lamps. It would look fantastic in my 1950′s ranch. Please help stop the tears and pick me.
Clear lamp, soft white shade, perfect for my old bungalow filled with mid-century furniture! I have just the spot, on the end of the credenza!
love it!
These are so beautiful – and those finials on top!! I’ve been searching for the perfect lamp to set atop my Lane Acclaim side table, and now I found it – in olive, please, if I win.
I am in awe! I would take ANY of these, seriously… but, the blues are one of my favorite. This would set in my entry way for all to soon! whooooon.
This lamp would look incredible next to my orange mid-century modern couch, but since we have decked out every room in retro style besides our bedroom, I would definitely add it to my nightstand instead. How amazing that would look! Thanks for the sweepstakes! I love seeing your amazing finds!
We just need a lamp.
Clear with natural burlap will do.
Just finished a huge remodel–this would look fabulous–make it blue please!
Love, love the sexy curves and color of the Blenko Amethyst Wave lamp! Would definitely keep the black shade with it, too!
Our house is a definite blend of contemporary with mid-century accents and touches (it’s new construction) and these Blenko lamps touch on both aspects we love: the contemporary look with a hint of history in its shape. LOVE THEM.
I would LOVE to win the Olive Cylinder Lamp with Black Linen Shade to put in my ranch home!!! Went to Blenko on field trips and with family in the 60s! These are beautiful!
I’m drooling all over myself. They are all beautiful, but I really like the Clear Cylinder Table Lamp. I need a lamp and I’m a graduate student, so obviously I can’t afford a Blenko lamp on my own. Fingers crossed!
A beautiful Blenko lamp would be the perfect addition to my beautiful home.
The peacock lamp with the white shade would make me so happy every time that I looked at it; I might be tempted to sit and stare at it all day!
The Peacock Cylinder Lamp would light up my life and give me hope to carry on.
My ongoing ongoing battle to renovate my 1963 Silverlake Mid-Century fixer has been going horribly awry and I could use a ray or two of hope.
I’m in love!! I’m a collector of vintage Blenko and am thrilled to see these lamps and this blog! Would LOVE to add a new Blenko lamp to my collection – so hard to choose!!
My son and daughter in law just bought their first home. They are fans of mid century modern. I would like to surprise them with one of these beautiful lamps. Turquoise, of course!
This would be the perfect addition to my growing collection of handblown glass, plus you can never have too many lamps.
LOVE THESE! Peacock with black shade
wowzer wowzer. these are stunners. want want want.
I would LOVE the olive lamp and linen shade.
I just painted (base) rewired and filled with river stones two glass cylinder lamps, but never like these beauties. Pick me! Pick me!
Might find a place for it in my 1973 Airstream project…
I love the light blue “bubble” lamp. During Hurricane Sandy, I was thankfully able to borrow a generator and have some heat and light. However, I was using an unrestored 60s lamp. The blue bubble lamp would be such an improvement, LOL!
Love them all.
First I love these lamps so much. It would go great with my chandlier with teardrops. I`m a vintage lover. these lamps are still fesh and modern , yet vintage , what could be better ?
My 1963-built house is much like the one in which I grew up. Although its decor is quite eclectic, I have deep fondness for fixtures and furniture that remind me of my childhood. I also have a need for more lighting!
My personal taste is simplicity with elagance. these lamps have got what it takes and are classics ! they would add elegance to any design scheme.
Any of these would look fabulous in the rec room of the Granny Ranch we are closing on! I think the olive with the burlap shade would be perfect with the gorgeous, shiny, two-piece sectional I recently acquired at an estate sale for just $7.50.
Wow!! Too many great choices here – I would probably pick either a turquoise-type blue or green. Those are so beautiful…
Ooooh, so pretty! Hard to choose, but I am drawn to the round lamps with white shades, they are elegant but also friendly looking. Torn between wheat and ice blue.
I am saving up to buy a house in our town’s historic district, and this would be a beautiful inspiration piece for the decor!
Yes, please. Would look awesome in my 1958 time capsule home with minor upgrades.
I love translucent type looks, such as in the original Apple IMac’s – contrasting with the more conventional lampshade – my condo has things such as this, an eclectic assortment sometimes of things.
Would need the peacock with the black shade so you could see it against all the wood paneling in my house. It would look great because these would look great almost anywhere.
These lamps are great – simple classics that would fit in with any decor. I always loved clear glass and the turquoise is my perfect choice!
All the lamps are beautiful. A yellow with beige shade would look great in our retro home.
Ooooh, these look like they were revived especially for my 1957 home. Any color would work in my living room, but I think I would choose one of the blues. Beautiful lamps!
My house was built in 1941 and has an eclectic/vintagey style. One of the Blenko cylindrical lamps would look awesome in my house. I love lamps so much – especially unusual or unique ones. I can’t decide on the color. I like the deep turquoise blue and the gold, but I would probably get the clear so I can put it anywhere in my house. Oh, I hope I win!
The number one thing I need in my home is lighting!
I love, love, love the turquoise with the white shade, and the clear with the wheat shade is pretty awesome, too. I am very picky when it comes to lamps, and those talk to me in a big way!
I would be SO LUCKY to have an Olive Wave Table Lamp! We close on our new mid-century modest one-owner mostly original home on November 15th! This lamp would be absolutely perfect in my new living room & I would promise to send pictures! C’mon random number generator!
This lamp would look amazing in our house – particularly the living room because of the large picture windows that pour in natural light. I can see the dance of light as it passes through the olive colored glass, bringing a warm glow to the room.
My pick? Olive with the natural shade or perhaps Clear with white – preferably both.
We are Americans who are currently living in the Republic of Panama, job-related. In a city full of new shiny all-glass towers, we have chosen to reside in an old school well-built charming apartment. My daughter and I are currently working on a sea glass collection with each beach day. This lamp would look amazing in my bedroom, tranquilo amongst the sea glass.
One of these lamps would look great with the mid-century modest furniture in our 1954 built house- crescent shaped couch, formica topped oval coffee table, matching formica end table, stereo cabinet/credenza. I love a lamp – really dislike using overhead lights.
so absolutely delicious – i can’t decide which one i like the best – have to go with all of them! or less greedy – just 1 please:)
I wanna enter to win the lamp. If I win it, I will give it to my daughter who LOVES Blenko — she has a few Blenko glass vases and would LOVE to have one of these to shine in her 1956 rancher which she and her husband rescued eight years ago in Northeast Portland.
M
These are so gorgeous! I would put the olive one with white shade on my bedside table.
We have a 1955 cape cod with most original features. I am now in the process of ordering some Petrie furniture from Crate & Barrel for the living room–I think it will fit well with the era of the house (and our current traditional furniture is falling apart!). I saw these lamps in your earlier article and loved the look–I think a Blenko lamp would be awesome in my re-do of the living room!
‘I wanna’ or something else nice and happy.
Oh the peacock lamp would look perfect against the gold wall in our living room.
I’d have to go with the peacock to compliment the peacock-colored glass lamp inherited from my grandmother’s retirement condo, decorated in 1977. Although the olive would go well next to our olive tapestry armchair c.1940s. My husband’s family is from the Milton area, so this is super exciting for us. I can’t believe I’ve never been to the Blenko factory. Next time we go for a visit, I’ll be sure to check it out.
We are renovating our bungalow. Next spring, we will get to our living room. One or more of these lamps would look fantastic in our gold livinging room.
I love the peacock color! it would be the perfect addition to my 1950′s ranch house
Any of these lamps would find a happy home in our 1956 fixer upper!
These lamps look so happy it just makes me want to smile! Would love to see one in my dark front hall, on the cabinet which is also dark. So I would probably pick the light blue or gold to help sparkle up my entrance and announce to visitors that I have electic taste!
Oh me oh my, I’d love the turquoise beauty. Can’t quite convince my hubby that our next house needs to be mid-century mod, but I CAN continue to bring bits and pieces into our 1990′s contemporary until it feels more like the 1959 ranch I grew up in!
The clear with the tan shade would look amazing in my sitting room, 1969 ranch – where I definitely need more light! We’ve got a mix of light and dark woods, and this will stand out beautifully among the dark woods in this room.
I am obsessed with Rejuvenation lighting. The Blenko line is such a charming, nostalgic style that is completely timeless. If I won the lamp I would feature the piece front and center in my living room. I love the clear / tan and turquoise / white versions of the cylinder form. Thank you for creating this give-away – I hope I win!!
I live, breath and eat “Mid-Century Modern”. My house is pink and teal(even the christmas trees).A yard sign” Welcome to my Atomic Ranch”, greets my quests. A Blenko lamp would be the best addition!
These Blenko lamps are beautiful- even more so because they are American made. I would strongly recommend an old PBS documentary “Blenko: Hearts of Glass” which details the company’s history. Peacock or Olive Cylinder with black shade please.
Love the jewel tones and the history of this company. Thanks for presenting this!
I just found an amazing MCM telephone table that is screaming for one of these gorgeous lamps. Thank you!
I love the olive base with the black shade. These are gorgeous!
I have a 1955 Daylight Rambler that is screaming for one of these American made Blenko lamps.
…..something else nice and happy. there, I said it!
These lamps are classic and beautiful. My home was built in the 80′s and my style is somewhat contemporary but I can easily see one of these lamps sitting on my end table. Probably a clear or gold one.
I would love one of these lamps for my bedroom! I recently remodeled it and I think any of the lamps would look perfect in there.. I would just need to make up my mind whether I would prefer a pop of color or a more neutral look!
I’d love to win an olive cylinder table lamp for our new old house!
Why this lamp would look great in my house. I mean how could any of these lamps not look GREAT in any house, utterly beautiful. And, to top it off, it’s American made. I’m in love!!!!!
A pair of these in turquoise would look gorgeous on my bedside tables, since I currently have rather nondescript clear glass nothings that detract from the turquoise midcentury look of my bedroom which is accented with a colorfuful bottle collection!
This would look great in my house because the modern lines would nicely offset our classic furniture pieces.
I need some extra style in my life. I have so many $5 thrift store lamps ( not that there’s anything wrong with that) but i need something a lil fancier. This fits the bill!
I love the look of glass lamps- its the perfect medium for transforming the glow of an electric lightbulb to an entire decorative display! Gives me an idea (light bulb over the head) just thinking about it~
I would love one of these lamps. They are of a very similar style to a lamp that I inherited from my grandparents, so one of these would good accent/balance on the other side of my sofa. All of the colors are beautiful, will have a hard time choosing.
The deep aqua lamp with the khaki shade would look great in my living room. Our house is not mid-mod but our living room IS! My husband finished a great piece of cedar and we’re planning to put hairpin legs on it to create a console table in the STARBURST cove at one end of our livingroom. Yes, I said starburst cove. I stenciled the starburst pattern you provided onto 2 walls at the end of our living room and that’s where the console table will sit. That lamp will look GREAT sitting on that console table right next to my light aqua vintage fan. BTW, my birthstone is aquamarine and I LOVE the color in all it’s fabulous shades! Please pick me!
Wow, all those comments, but I have to add mine! We are closing tomorrow on our 1960 quad-level with pink bathroom, blue bathroom, and wood paneling fabulousness. I would love that Olive Round Lamp in our family room, olive and warm honey-wood. Yum!
Blenko lamps are incredible – it would be so hard to choose which style as I can imagine them in every room in our house – from our ship cabin style living room, to our 50′s style kitchen or especially our 60′s style bedroom. Even the modern office could use a Blenko lamp!
The gold lamps would look great with the oak floors in my 1950 Cape Cod. (has pink and black bathroom, too)
I would love the Wheat Wave Table Lamp. Would go great with my mid century modern furnishings and the tangerine/gold Blenko crackle glass decanter I inherited.
The turquoise lamp with white shade would look wonderful in my living room. I’m a big fan of Rejuvenation; their fixtures are beautiful and so well made.
I love these lamps. Any would look great in the 60′s ranch I am trying to buy.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
In a pinch
The turquoise will do
The clear cylinder table lamp with the camel shade would be such a nice addition to the living room in my 1946 cottage house! I really need an update to the non-period side-table lamp that is there now! Come on random generator…pick ME!
I love glass and I love these lamps. The turquoise one would look great in my 1959 living room which is done all in blues and greens!
I would love one of these lamps. They are the perfect size and the color combinations give you so much to work with.
I’m in the process of redecorating to mid-century modern with a modern flair, and I LOVE color, craftsmanship and history…so a Blenko lamp is the perfect fit! And, ohhhhh, the colors. While I’m often very indecisive about color (so many to choose from!) and would normally vacillate between olive and turquoise, wave and cylinder, my eye honed in on that peacock cylinder lamp like a bee to honey. SWOON! That color makes me HAPPY! It’s invigorating and soothing at the same time — no easy task! The lamp is classy, classic AND fun! It would look so great on my mid-century sideboard! I also love and respect that they’re made in the USA. Rejuvenation has fast become my favorite new obsession. (Is it wrong to get elated over switchplates?)
These lamps rock!!
I love lamp! One of these Blenko cylinder lamps would look absolutely gorgeous in my living room on top of the my most awesome 1961 army green and gold Kenwood Stereo console my dad and I refinished together.
A Blenko lamp would look great in my house, casting its lovely light across my golden Kroehlers!
I would love a lamp! We just moved into our DREAMHOME circa 1952, and I’m sitting in the dark!
I have collected Blenko glass for years and visited their studio several times. A mmid-century lamp in Blenko glass would look amazing in my rancher’s living room with my glass collection. Please pick me!!!
In the middle of renovating our 1952 bungalow. The turquoise or teal lamp would be a perfect addition!
Such a beautiful lamp would look great just about anywhere, but especially casting a warm glow over my cute late 50s Baldwin piano, languishing in the dark corner!
I saw a TV special on Blenko glass recently and was impressed by the skill of the artisans who produce the decorative glass pieces. In this day of mass production I would enjoy owning a hand crafted lamp with glass from this famous craftworks. The blue one is my favorite.
I would love one of these lamps for end table next our beautiful Adrian Pearsall sofa!
Ooooh!
The wheat flare table lamp…. perfect for my 1949 ranch. I’ve been searching for a barrel type lamp for my dinning room and a Blenko would fit perfectly!
Q: ‘Why this lamp would look great in your house?‘
A: This lamp would look great in my house since it is a 1954 rancher and we need cool atomic stuff in it to impress our hipster cats.
I could use a Blenko lamp! My 1940s house has no light fixtures in the living room ceiling!
My wife has already told me why this lamp would look great in our house, but I have no decorating sense and really didn’t understand any of it. Please let me win this so she doesn’t spend our money buying these lamps. Thank you.
Oh, and she likes the Wheat Flare lamp the most.
I would love to win a Peacock coloured lamp for my 1955 Bungalow I am renovating. It is lots of work but it will be lovely when finished and the Rejuvenation lamp would be the cherry on the sundae in my living room. Thank you!
Would love to win it for my daughter’s new apartment!
So pretty…yes, my ’54 Ranch would love to be lit with such brilliance…hard to decide between the Peacock color and turquoise (I think either would look especially nice shining on my handpicked Pacific sea glass collection). What a great give-a-way…and, hand crafted in the USA…just like the old days.
The Olive Cylinder is just a delight, it would be lovely in our 1940-60′s now carefully remodeled beach cottage. A great pop of a wonderful retro color… the turquoise is pretty special too.
I love the peacock bluenlamp with burlap shade!
All these lamps are amazing! They’re tempting!
The turquoise lamp is fabulous!
This lamp would look great in my house because my 1955 Ranch house is a time capsule, albeit disintegrating time capsule!
The Peacock color with the Natural Burlap Shade would look stunning just about anywhere in my house – nightstand, dresser, side table, so many choices!
Oh golly gee whiz I sure do love the peacock! It would look great in my living room because I currently have only cheap Ikea lamps and I’ve been looking to replace them (or one anyway!) with something classier.
I adore these lamps! The glass finials are such a seductive finishing touch. Make mine the peacock table lamp. It’s just the nudge I need to rip out the good-as-new–but hideous–green and brown wall-to-wall carpet in a bedroom I am renovating.
We are living in the house I grew up in. It was built in the 1950′s. We both love anything “retro”, especially from the late 50′s and early 60′s era. I am very attached to this house and having things surround me from this time brings me back to my wonderful childhood. A time when things were less complicated, less frantic and a little more personal. The olive lamp with the black shade reminds me of all the good times spent in this house with my family and good neighbors all around. It goes great with the color schemes we are using, aqua’s and green’s. Love the turquoise one too! Thanks for the chance to win such a lovely lamp:)
…I finally bit the bullet, moved downtown to a studio, and brought out my cache of mid-century furniture I’d been collecting at Estate Sales all these years…My color them is Aqua and Avocado Green, with with room for a few pieces like my 1950s Ivory Naughahyde Broken-Back Boomerang couch from a pool house in Beverly Hills! I don’t have a real lamp in my place, and the Turqouise one would be perfect! ( fingers crossed
Ok, here goes…
If by chance I win a “Blenko Glass lamp from Rejuvenation”, I would give it to my 91 year old parents who still live in their 1959 MCM home they built. They NEED a new lamp because their lamps are O-L-D!!! They won’t spend money on new ones because the old ones still work (despite chips and dented shades.)
Thank you.
Oh, and an amber colored lamp with cream shade would be so nice.
: )
We recently became first-time home buyers of a mid-century modest split level ranch and boy would it be nice to have a “grown up” lamp to go with our “grown up” home and mortgage! Wow these are really beautiful lamps. It’s hard to for me to even pick a favorite but I think I would like the turquoise table lamp with a white shade best.
I would just love one of these lamps–the aqua one in particular. I have an all wood paneling open living/dining area, and am committed to keeping the wood. BUT our lighting is terrible and at night the place just feels so dark. So I’ve been ogling lamps on craigslist, but most period ones are so serious looking. This cheerful, light lamp would not only add light to my dining area, but provide a nice contrast to the wood walls.
Fingers, toes crossed!
Wow! I have always liked the look of these lamps. Glad to know a name and source now!
I am in the midst of re-painting my living room and an olive Blenko lamp would be a great addition to my newly painted room.
Sending lots of Blenko lamp love to all! What a wonderful resurrection of a design classic. I know *just* the home for one of these beauties! Thanks, Pam!
I would definitely choose the Olive colored Blenko lamp! This matches perfectly with my sage green 50′s style sofa. Thanks for bringing them back!
All of these lamps would look amazing in our 50′s ranch – how to choose just one?! They look like a beautiful lady all dressed up for a night on the town – and would add some glamour to any room.
Since my 7 year old was born, our late ’70s home has been put on hold while we focused on raising him and his 6 year old brother. Being “all boy” boys, our family room has suffered a beating and DESPERATELY needs some freshining up. My wife and I shopped at a nice, local lighting gallery recently, but nothing really jumped out at us. The green lamp with black shade is uber-cool, however, and would be the shot in the arm our exhausted room needs and be the catalyst to bring about more rejuvenation!
I’d Rejuvenate my living room in a Blenko of an eye with the blue-green turquoise lamp with ivory shade! Because blue and green are the colors of sky, sea, and trees and plants, my favorite things!
I think these lamps would look good in just about anyone’s house. I’m looking for ways to bring a more modern vibe into my first place without chucking the great furniture my grandmother gave me.
I would give a lamp to my sister-in-law, who recently underwent surgery. The gold cylinder with the black shade is striking, and I think she’d find just the place for it.
My home would love one of the wheat lamps since orange is her favorite color. The wave would fit in one of the corners and the round would be perfect for the reading table.
Love Blenko so this is really exciting.
Pam
I love the teal lamp, the pop of color would look great in my bedroom! Rejuvenation is my favorite, I ordered my bathroom sconces and porcelain fixtures from them
Beautiful! Would be great with our 1950′s bedroom set from my husband’s grandparents…
How I remember my mother’s Blenko glass on the coffee table so many years ago — and how I wish I knew what became of it!
The renovation of my home design office continues with chair and lamp selection coming up as soon as drapery fabric chosen. I’m thinking the Olive Round Blenko would be a stunning focal point for the room.
Will be in Portland for the holidays and plan to visit the store with my DIL, a little lunch-and-lamps outing.
My family is moving into a “new” 1951 house, and the peacock cylinder Blenko lamp would stand out beautifully with the white walls and golden drapes. It would be my living room’s signature piece — a modern element in an otherwise very traditional Colonial home. Blenko glass is legendary, and I’d be proud to have it in my home.
A peacock lamp with an ivory shade would be perfect for the living room in my time capsule 1965 ranch house!
This is my first home purchase & this blog has been incredibly helpful and a great source of inspiration.
I live in a 1930 Buffalo bungalow and the walls of my living room, dining room and sunporch are painted in telescoping shades of chartreuse. I think the fabulous Blenko blue cylinder lamp would look absolutely fabulous in one of those rooms alongside my MCM decor. I love that Rejuvenation has revived this wonderul line! Thanks to Rejuvenation & RetroRenovation for this fun contest!
I have a lamp “problem.” I cannot resist old lighting, with a complete weakness for lamps sporting fiberglass shades. I confess to owning an original Blenko lamp in amethyst. I believe it would be happier with a mate. Or maybe that’s my addiction talking?
we are currently rehabbing a 1949 midcentury modern house and even stripping and refinishing steel cabinets from 1952 and the whole bit. This lamp will look awesome in the finished product!
My mid-modest bungalow will be even cozier with a Blenko Lamp. I’m in love with the lamp of Harvest Gold…
Just bought a mid-century home…need furnishings and all kinds of advice!
Would be a beautiful addition in my room!!
This would make the best Christmas gift for my daughter’s mid-century modern home.
My husband and I are under contract to buy a mid century ranch and are busy thinking about all the cool retro furnishings we want to use to give the house the proper feel. These lamps would be perfect!
One of these lamps would sit perfect and pretty in my 1958 ranch house.
Peacock or turquoise would add a touch of sassy, classy glass to my living room. Gorgeous, daaahhhling!,
Ooooh peacock with the neutral shade would look adorable atop the rosewood MCM bookshelf I inherited from grandma. Or maybe the olive…
