happy-holidays-2013-from-kathy-and-gregI am enjoying a bit of Christmas morning by looking through our galleries of readers’ Christmas decorations and then, by consolidating new photos of aluminum Christmas trees into this mega-gallery. I have more work to go, but here’s a start — 219 photos of vintage aluminum Christmas trees to sparkle sparkle twinkle twinkle your day away. Above: Kathy & Greg V. are mesmerized, for sure.

Oh darn! I was looking forward to seeing it. No I haven’t… though I figure since there are several styles, heights, branch number, (for fullness), pompom versus non, and color… lord that’s a pretty personal decision! I’d hate to get all excited and itd be the very one you don’t like! LOL LUCKILY there are so many options to choose from you can really personalize it for yourself. I have found with people that have them too, they’re pretty passionate about the type they have. I think next year I might replace mine… it’s a little short. Not sure yet. Good luck in your search, as you said once we like to do things the hard way, but it’s so much more rewarding!
And also thanks for telling people NOT TO PUT LIGHTS ON THEM! as the son, brother, cousin, and nephew to 2 firefighters too many fires are caused by stuff like this.
