In researching our epic series 99 ideas to decorate a pink bathroom, I sure uncovered a lot of flamingo shower curtains. As a followup, Pam set me out on a mission to find my top 10 favorites on the market today, but I became so enamored with what I was finding, I couldn’t stop at just 10. So read on for my top ten favorites plus 24 more fun flamingo designs — enough for a flamboyance!
Kate’s top 10 flamingo shower curtains
1. Flamingos shower curtain from Society 6 — I just love the goofy illustrational quality of this fun flamingo shower curtain — plus the ferny looking leaves really make for a dynamic design. It would be so hard to frown with these two goofy guys staring back at you every morning.
2. Flamingo and dots shower curtain from Society 6 — Pam found this pink and grey polka dotted flamingo shower curtain when she was sending me her ideas for decorating a pink and grey bathroom, and I fell instantly in love. This shower curtain would work well in a variety of bathrooms — vintage and modern.
3. Pink flamingos shower curtain from Cafe Press — I love the graphic quality of this flamingo shower curtain and that it also has aqua, blue and pink flora and fauna floating around the pair of flamingos — which are a pleasing salmony pink.
Hey, readers are saying they can find many of these shower curtains on Amazon too:
5. Flamingos and fish shower curtain from Society 6 — The flamingos on this shower curtain may not look as friendly as some, but I love the variation of pinks and the addition of fun, geometric fish swimming in the water at their feet.
6. Miami Flamingo shower curtain from DENY Designs — This shower curtain makes me giggle in a way that only a hot pink flamingo wearing turquoise shades and carrying a 1980s boom box could. I’d love to hang this in my bathroom and then wait to hear the reactions of all my house guests.
7. Pink flamingo shower curtain from Frontgate — This flamingo shower curtain is quite pricey at $349, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still think it is great, right? It is more subtle than many of the other designs, so in a more elegant setting, this flock of flamingos would still feel right at home.
8. Flamingo Coast shower curtain from The Company Store — I love the hot colors of this flamingo shower curtain — and the fact that the designer strayed from the traditional pink and made some orange flamingos — so much fun!
9. Flamingo shower curtain from Society 6 — This lifelike-looking flamingo has his eye on something, is it me? Am I interrupting his shower? Either way he looks stunning set upon the complementary mint background.
10. Black and pink flamingos shower curtain from Cafe Press — If I had a pink and black bathroom, you know this would be my shower curtain — plus the addition of the lime green, almost day-glow palm trees really jazzes up the design.

I need help in saving two classic pink bathrooms from 1962.
Once is the classic pink tile and the other is small tile pink and white floors including the sunken bath tub.

I liked the Flamingo shower curtains. I would like some ideas for a 60’s bathroom with large yellow tiles on walls with smaller yellow tiles in tub area. Not sure I found the right Flamingo curtain to go with the yellow. No even sure what color was used with the yellow back in the 60’s. Trying to keep it as retro as I can. The tub and toliet, sink are white with wood (not dark) vaniety with light really no color) formica top. Bathroom has a window in it with bottom half made so you can’t see thru it, so just a valance would be ok. But open to other ideas also. Thanks a bunch for any help.

I bought the rug that goes with #9 a couple of weeks ago from Society 6! I decided to do a wall in flamingo decor, using my 1955 Turner mirror as the jump-off point.
By the way, I also discovered you can use a fabric (polyester) shower curtain to make curtains. Just cut in half & line, with weights in the corners. I did this in my living room when I could find neither curtains nor material that I liked. I found a perfect shower curtain online at Target.com. I wonder who the first person will be to figure out my curtains are really shower curtains.
