Suzy aka Georgia Peachez

Update: Congratulation to Richard, the happy winner of this wreath giveaway. His number came up in the random. Thanks, everyone, for playing, and super thanks to Suzy for helping with this giveaway this year! Howdy, hudee — it’s time for our most awaited yearly giveaway on the blog: One lucky winner will win this gorgeous vintage ornament wreath, handcrafted by the Queen o’ Ornament Wreaths, the original trendsetter, the talented Suzy a.k.a. GeorgiaPeachez herself! These wreaths sell out fast in GeorgiaPeachez’s shop, so this is your chance to get one of these coveted creations for yourself. Note: What with Pam’s trip to Pittsburgh and Thanksgiving upon us, we will be taking next week off. Happy happy, everyone — see you on the 30th.

As far as we know, Georgia Peachez was the pioneer of the vintage ornament wreath, and has honed her craft to perfection. There’s nothing quite like an original GeorgiaPeachez creation!

In the last few years, she’s even started creating non-wreath vintage goodies, such as arrangements made in vintage vessels like head vases, retro toys and Christmas ceramics, as well as dioramas made using the vintage ornament boxes. You can see a lot of her adorable creations on GeorgiaPeachez’s Facebook page. Bottom line, we just luv this lady!

My favorite part is taking days off of work to spend time with my friends, family and pets. Decorating the vintage aluminum tree I got form my grandparents, brings back so wonderful memories.

I love having time off from work and being able to sleep in, eat great food and watch tons of Christmas movies with my family.

Yikes! I almost forgot to enter… my favorite part of Christmas is the lights. I love walking through my neighborhood at night time and seeing all of the houses decorated and the trees in the windows. Sometimes there will be a glimpse of a decorated mantel or a family gathered for dinner. The quiet of the night, twinkling lights, the warmth of family… it makes all the world seem ok for a moment.

My favorite parts of the holiday season are: our annual “driving around looking at lights” trek, the memories I have of Christmases past, crazy pet photos either with gifts, headgear (like antlers) or funny antics, the tree (especially aluminum), and of course, family! Can’t wait to hang up my new wreath! 🙂

  5. Felecia says

I love all the traditions of everyone I know and how they share them with me and I with them over the holiday season!
