About offers DIYers and woodworkers a complete line of parts in wood and metal to build Mid-Century Modern dining tables, end stands, and coffee tables, including mounting hardware, cleats, and hardwood tops in nearly any size. Note: recently became an advertiser on this site (although this giveaway was not part of “the deal.”)

I think they’ve seen a lot of action from Retro Renovation over the past several years, because Kate is a fan of the midcentury modern legs in wood, which she has used on both of bathroom vanities she built — here’s the first one she built, for her master bathroom, and here’s her most recent project installed in her hall bathroom. also offers hairpin table legs in three heights, and for this giveaway, the prize is four 16″ hairpin legs—the perfect height for a coffee or low occasional table — in your choice of red. blue, yellow, satin nickel, or black. They come with mounting hardware and instructions for fast installation onto your own new or reclaimed top.

I would choose satin nickel. I would attach it to a mosaic stone coffee table my Dad made in high school (early 60’s). Mid-century fabulous!

  2. Paula says

I really love all the colors, but think first I’d choose the black ones. My table surface might be an old 4 pane window or unique wood.

  3. Sara says

Ahhh, how do I pick which color? Actually I think I’d go for satin nickel because my tabletop would be made using a patchwork of sample pieces of Wilsonart laminate in all of different the Retro Renovation boomerang colors!

  4. Sherry says

I would definitely love the black. I came across a beautiful old coffee table that i found at a flea market that i am dying to bring back to life!

  5. Sarah says

I would choose black to coordinate with the set of hairpin legs I stole from my parents’ old table letting me finally have the retro nightstands I’ve always longed for….

  6. Kelly says

Satin nickel for a piece of black walnut slab that I saved from a non-profit school in town that was torn down recently. Will be our entry table!

  7. Samantha says

Your devotion to all things atomic, retro, and pink bathrooms gives me ultimate JOY! Thank you! Those hairpin legs are super cool too.

  8. Cindi says

Hi! I would use RED hairpin table legs BECAUSE i almost never use red, but it’s such a great accent with teal & turquoise wall paint — I want my home office to be fun & LIVELY! thanks 😉
