1992 is now “vintage” Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Email Newsletter Posted by: Pam Kueber • May 17, 2017 I don’t get super personal too much here on the blog. But yesterday my husband and I marked 25 years married. I think that means we’re now… vintage. Golly, it is so true what they say: Time goes by in a flash. My mom used to say that the older you get, the faster time goes by. She sure was right about that. The closer you get to the end, the faster it goes.” Reply Dana says May 18, 2017 at 9:34 am Happy Anniversary Pam! We live in a whole different world now, 25 years later. I am so thankful for you and your blog, keeping good design alive, with the side benefit of remembering the history and values that informed said design. 25 years ago I was living in a brand new house with new telephones and tvs. A recent visitor remarked about how cute and retro such things were, and did I buy them because they were so vintage? I had to confess, I am still using them. LOL! Thanks for everything, and I hope you and your husband celebrate BIG! Reply Robin, WA says May 18, 2017 at 9:37 am Pam, you look gorgeous! I love your dress. Very classic unlike so many of the puffy sleeved, giant skirted dresses of the early 90s. Reply Pam Kueber says May 18, 2017 at 11:58 am Thank you. It’s Mary McFadden, from a sample sale in NYC, which is where we lived at that time. Very … Grecian Goddess. The back had detail… Reply RAnderson says May 18, 2017 at 4:49 pm Mazeltov! That is a great pic 🙂 Reply Joe Felice says May 21, 2017 at 2:11 pm May parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1992, and my sister married her husband. Somehow, I just can’t see anything from ’92 as “vintage.” Reply Jill says May 21, 2017 at 2:14 pm Congratulations! What a nice photo of you and your husband. And such a chic gown!!!!
