I don’t get super personal too much here on the blog. But yesterday my husband and I marked 25 years married. I think that means we’re now… vintage. Golly, it is so true what they say: Time goes by in a flash.

Congratulations on the Anniversary! Lots of love, laughter & blessings to you both!
I’ve been working in a shop where the kids are now asking for 90’s clothing & toys. They want something from their youth. I graduated in 1990 from high school. It takes getting used to knowing it’s official that kids look to my youth as “vintage”.
My mother & I used to go “antiquing” years ago. It’s good to see the tradition continues with others. (:

Congratulations! As a lover of everything vintage, I would be hardpressed to call your 1992 wedding vintage. My husband and I recently celebrated our 38th anniversary and I don’t even think of OUR marriage as vintage! Seems to me like it was only a short time ago.
Insofar as your question about the saying that “time goes by in a flash”…YES I think that’s exactly why the phrase was coined. My husband and I watched our grandson’s kindergarten “graduation” last week. I had to keep shaking myself into reality – it felt like yesterday when we were watching the same event but it was our 5 year old son (now the Daddy) who was the graduate.

May parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1992, and my sister married her husband. Somehow, I just can’t see anything from ’92 as “vintage.”
