Oh it’s so fun to look at the long and low sofas (and sometimes matching chairs) on ebay. Here are one and two currently online. both with original upholstery and matching chairs. The first one could be as late as the 70s or even GASP 80s, but it’s still awesome!

The “girls” in the typing pool on Mad Men sure look to be typing away on Hon desks. This longtime company, which services mostly offices, has great retro styled desks. Unfortunately, they also had a bona fide ‘tanker’ desk, which they discontinued last year.

It’s nice to see that furniture manufacturers are bringing back sofas and chairs that have more traditional scale and lines like those in the 1954 Simmons ad above and in the thumbnail.
