These are early 40s Youngstowns. Interestingly, this company (and others) seemed to market the sink base pretty much as a stand-alone feature for the kitchen. One can only surmise, that housewives had only so much money - and putting it into a very functional sink base -- including those awesome cast iron or steel drainboards -- was a good investment....while they kept the rest of the country or city kitchen, with its furniture style -- rather than fitted -- elements, intact, until they could afford more.
