St. Louis *is* full of amazing stuff. LOTS of post-war housing was built as the metro area sprawled into St. Louis County from St. Louis city. (Yes, it's civically confusing.) Lots of places are being redone now as original post-war owners die or go into nursing homes. Resale shops are likewise full of amazing, portable things.
I've had a great time working on our '62 kitchen. Only wish that I could use all these finds!
