I have a 1954 steel Youngstown kitchen, but all the drawer pulls and cabinet knobs have been replaced Sad In a perfect world, I could find authentic replacements, but I am willing to settle for any retro-style "boomerang" hardware for my wonderful cabinets. Does anyone know where I can get these? Thanks!
Hi Robin. I don't know where to get the boomerang hardware as a reproduction. Crown City Hardware has some gorgeous streamline handles with the 2-3/4" spread that I believe these cabinets require (be sure to check the 'spread' before you buy.) The other two places you can try for salvaged handles: Liz's Antique Hardware, and Historic House Parts. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.
