Readers, Readers! As my kitchen comes together, I have to start thinning out the extras I've accumulated (or just simply could not resist). I have stoves, sinks, cabinets, and a ton of 4" pink ceramic tile up for grabs in Northeast Ohio. I have some pics and am taking more as I unearth it! Let me know if you have interest!

Wow Karmi, that is one beauteous (sp?) stove!
Wait until you see the other two!!!
I am looking for some American Olean pink tile! Do you know the style name? I am looking for some in the Crystalline series to do some restoration in my pink bathroom...

Thanks,
Susan
Hi Susan! I have 4 boxes that say American Olean on the side and each has a slightly different shade of pink. I so hope I can help you find the right tile, but I am not sure if all of these are in their original box. For example, one lot of tile says "American Lifetime Tile" on the back and another say "Camtile." I did wash all the tiles and sort them, but not sure to tell if it is truly American Olean. Do you have any unused tiles so that you can tell me what they say or look like on the back? Also -- tell me how big your square tiles are (4", 4.5", 4 3/8"?), and that will help as well. I saw no indication of color name on any of them. You can see my auctions by searching for seller name theamishdisco or email me at karmi_woolfe(at)yahoo,com for more banter. Maybe you could send me a broken piece or I could send you some samples. It is so crazy to realize just how many wonderful pinks there are in the world -- but aggravating when trying to match!
Thanks for the speedy reply! The ones I need are 4.25", so that might eliminate a match right away!

I've taken a few close ups of one of the two spare tiles I already have; the front side not so much for color, but for texture. These are not smooth, shiny, glossy glazed tile, but rather slightly textured and more matte.

Hope this helps!
Susan
Thanks for the pictures. Unfortunately, I have nothing like this. But now I know how to identify American Olean. I have Amercian 64 through 203 I think.. but nothing like this texture. Good luck in your search, and I'll keep an eye out while shopping!
Thank you, Karmi! I appreciate your help!

p.s. I'm living in Columbus, Ohio now, but am originally from Northeastern Ohio (Minerva/Alliance) and went to Kent State. My daughter was born at Robinson Memorial Hospital! Now, my daughter is going to Kent State, so maybe I'll have to swing by one of these days and check out your Re-Store (and maybe your new kitchen!).
