My grandmother owns a 1951 Kelvinator Model AH, which still runs in her 1950's kitchen. A few years ago the orginial handle broken. I'd like to purchase a replacement, but can't find anyone who sells replacement door handles. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I have a 1958 Westinghouse stainless steel wall oven in beautiful and working condition. Any suggestions on contacts that could give me an idea of it's value? I'm in the SF Bay Area. Thanks.

Jonnie - I like the wood finish laminate styles a lot -- it's what I'd call a slab door with a little pizzazz, which I think would be appropriate the deeper you get into the 60s and head into the 70s. The white with the wood trim -- I think that has more of an 80s look. I will do a post on them -- thanks. Let us know if you get them. Well done!

Would these cabinets be considered retro for my 1965 mid-century modern style kitchen?

I'd like to purchase a Dishmaster for my kitchen but my area has very hard water and I'm concerned about maintenance and longevity. Anyone have experience with these conditions?

Help! I am looking for vintage steel cabinets for my 1956 ranch-style home. we are on a squeaky-tight budget, but need to redo our kitchen literally top to bottom and thought it would be great to do vintage cabinets if possible.
We are in Minnesota. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Tony - why don't you post this over on the Forum in the Youngstown area. This is not a DIY site, but someone might be able to help with this basic assembly question. Please take care with the work you are doing -- check the paint finish for lead and take proper environmental and safety precautions, etc.. Forum: http://retrorenovation.com/forum/
