Have you or your readers ever located a good source for refurbished or retro chairs for a typical 50's Formica dinette? We have a great table with really special BLACK iron(?) legs but we need chairs desperately (pink or black) and I'd settle on chrome hardware at this stage!

Hi Nancy - just for you I have a post coming tomorrow (Monday) with all my latest laminate choices for a midcentury bathroom. These are for counters, though, not necessarily cabinet doors. On that front (pun!) I will have to do more research. I am not too keen on the thought of the cracked ices - also I think the stuff is way too expensive. How about something wood-toned?

Pam- I am using Daltile colors Moon Beam & Crisp Linen in the bathroom we are redoing. I wanted to us a yellow laminate to do a countertop & (in other rooms they have used the laminate to cover cabinet doors) I wanted to cover some cabinets. Do you think w/ the tile choice, yellow sink & toilet that the yellow cracked ice laminated would be the best choice?

Thanks for your help!
