To buy a product you see featured on this website….

Please know: We do not sell anything here.
We spotlight companies that do.
Due to sheer volume, we can not respond to
emails asking us to sell you something

  • To buy a product you see featured on this site, you must contact the company profiled in the story. Often, there is a hotlink to their website — hotlinks are in bright blue, click on them, and they will take you to a retailer’s site.
  • If there is no hotlink, google them.
  • If the hotlink is broken, google them (hotlinks can become outdated, and it’s difficult for us to keep up).
  • If you have detailed question about the product — ask the retailer directly.
  • If you run into problems — we prefer that you ask us for help by commenting on the appropriate story and subscribing to the comment thread. This way, everyone interested in that topic can share in any updates.
  • If you are looking for a particular product, use our Navigation (start clicking on the blue bar above – there will also be subcategories in orange) to get to all our research. You can also try the Search box.

Good luck!

Looking everywhere (even on your forum) for one of the 8 pt starburst backplates. I’ve checked rejuvination, but they are not selling them. No ebay sales, etsy sales, etc. Nobody has them! Do you know of a source?

dawn, they are not available new today. You have to find one vintage. Please also be aware that old materials like this may contain vintage nastiness such as lead or asbestos, etc. – consult with your own properly licensed professional.

Need to know where to find the “50’s streak style” tile flooring. Looking for samples. Trying to recreate a room for a exhibit project.

Re: A 1961 Shasta Airflyte trailer downloadable pattern:
On the page where the top and bottom of the trailer is located what is the strip to the left of the trailer bottom for?
    Thank You

I am not sure. Kate made the pattern, and she no longer writes for the blog…. Can you not tell from her story?
