Here’s another last minute gift idea: A multitude of vintage Flower Power Posters — part of a long lost stash. I bought the two Buckminster Fuller designs. There are about a dozen different flower designs — and lots of vintage travel posters, as well. Here is what seller Bryan tells me about his find:
We acquired the collection from an elderly gentleman who was a poster dealer in the 60’s, as well as an avid collector. He … stored them away all these years. They were stored unused, and the colors are still very bright and vibrant! LooArt was aquired by Current in the early 70’s, and they stopped making posters in 1972. Current is still in business today, making checks and greeting cards etc… I also have a very popular Lucia poster that isn’t currently listed on ebay. I have it in storage about a 2 hour drive away. I will be listing it as soon as I can get to where it is. This poster can be seen in the background of the movie Love Story.
Thanks again and have a great day.
Bryan
Update: Alas, since I published this story in 2011, the link has gone cold — I’ll keep this story up for the record, though.

Wow, thanks so much for sharing these with us! I just bought two of them because I couldn’t decide on just one. These will go in my guest room. I’m still in the process of decorating it, and have made curtains from blue Marimekko Unikko fabric. These posters will go so well with them. Yay! 🙂
