Three 1970s vintage posters for Herman Miller’s company summer picnic — not cheap — but oh my goodness what gorgeous graphics. Thanks to ebay seller underyourmoney for giving me permission to feature photos of the posters. In this ebay carousel, I also feature a number of sellers with multiple items — for example, there are four rolls of that metallic blue wallpaper. If one of these items catches your eye, be sure to go into the seller’s complete listings to see if there is more more more. Oh. And a New Old Stock 1960s flower power flocked shower curtain. Would you? Could you?

I had to smile, as I looked at those posters every day while I was in college! They were on the walls of the college dining hall. I went to college in Holland, MI – home of Herman Miller. (The company and the man.) What a blast of memory! I especially remember the teeth/corn one, but they were all hanging there.

A couple of years ago, I was lucky enough to score the 1973 poster off eBay for less than $75. It’s the one of the hot dog and is perfect in our house, which was finished in 1973. I’m still dreaming of owning the 1971 poster (the year the architect/builder started our house) but I think it’s a little out of my budget! Cool stuff!

I love those posters. Just another thing to add to the list to look for!

An Austin “used-stuff” store in a warehouse area was selling the Herman Miller 1975 pie poster (framed) for $500 a few months ago. The posters are really beautiful in person.
