tiki bar glassTiki-TuesdayUpdate Nov. 2016: These seem to come in and out stock at CB2. Type ‘tiki’ into the search bar on their site to see what comes up — and I guess, get ’em while you can.

Happy Tiki Tuesday! I noticed that CB2 — the mid mod offshoot of Crate & Barrel — has gone yaya for the tiki, too, and among their summer ’14 products, have introduced two different styles of tiki design barware. Both designs — the tiki stacking glasses and the tai tall cocktail glasses — are already getting positive reviews. tiki cocktail glass

Snap these up now… or you know how it goes, wait for a big sale… these glasses could definitely be a fun addition to your home tiki bar, your patio — or even just as daily drink ware.

drinking straws bambooOh… did you notice the bamboo-look drinking straws? Looks like you can get them at Cost Plus World Market shown above, or from sellers like In the Clear on etsy.com. Straws from both places are made in the U.S.

CB2 currently (3/19/15) has both the Tiki Stacking Glasses and the Tai Tall Drinking Glasses in stock.

  2. Mag says:

Went back to see if they still sold them and they no longer have either size. Those of you who got them, I’d love to see them in use! <3

Can I make a pitch for Cost Plus World Market? It’s a little thing, but I met the owner waiting on line at the airport. He was one of those very experienced fliers (you can imagine) and I was traveling with my son and struggling to get all our “stuff” through. Security. He helped me re-pack all our “stuff” and was very patient as we fumbled with our shoes and coats after going through the X-ray machine. So many business fliers get exasperated with people flying with more than a carry on but this gentleman was wonderful. And I learned that day– that Cost Plus has actual storefronts. I shop almost exclusively on line and I never knew that.

I have two of the orange and two of the aqua and they are fabulous. Thick, heavy glass that stacks nicely in the cabinet. Love!

  5. hannah says:

Well, I bought two of the orange ones today! I wanted two aqua and two orange but the aqua was all sold old. *Gee* Wonder how that happened!

I shared the link here with a guy at work who’s all into Tiki and has a dream of opening a Tiki Bar in Portland, ME. I’m sure he bought some too.

    Again, thanks Pam!

  6. Mary Elizabeth says:

Such fun! I echo the “subtle” comment. I would be proud to have these in my MCM kitchen, and I like the stacking component!

  7. lisa in Seattle says:

Love how the tall ones are sort of a subtle Tiki. Which I would have doubted possible had I not seen it.

    Thanks, Pam!!!!! <3

  9. Miss Mickey says:

I really like these glasses. I’ve been looking for Tiki-type stuff that won’t take away from the pastel-ness of the rest of my decor/house and these are nice and subtle. I hope they ship to Australia!

My husband and I are tiki collectors and these look awesome! We are currently building a tiki bar in our basement and realize that all of our mugs are not of the drinking variety. These would work perfect for entertaining!
