Are you on the lookout for midcentury modern fabric — vintage NOS even better — in enough yardage to make draperies? Well, just this morning Pam discovered an ebay seller who has large rolls of NOS fabric available — in five gorgeous printed designs, including some with gold printing detail. Prices are very reasonable, too. Hop to this, peeples!
From the Ebay listing:
I am trying to explain how beautiful this fabric is because I can understand how there might be hesitation because you cannot feel it in your hands. It is luscious, substantial, silky, and never touched. I have never come across such fabric before, and I wish I could keep it all myself, alas I cannot.
I made draperies for my home simply by folding over the top and sewing a straight line so a rod could be put in, and hemming the bottom with a quick press and seam. I even left the selvages out because they are even beautiful. Don’t pass this up.
Absolutely beautiful!!! Excellent condition drapery fabric.
48 inches wide.
This fabric is still on the original bolt, never been used, but it is Old stock
Continuous yardage.
Shipping will be based on how many yards purchased. please contact with questions.
The color ways available are awesome — we particularly love the orange, green, gold and brown pattern above with the painterly geometric design.
The seller appears to have two different color ways of this fabric design available — the above gold, black brown and orange…
And a gold, black, blue and lavender version too.
There’s also a lovely blue, black and green asian inspired geometric design.
We love the slubby, silky fabric texture.
My personal favorite is the seller’s flower power fabric. The large, bright pink, red, gold, green and black flowers and leaves in this pattern would make any room feel instantly cheerier, don’t you think?
The fabric is being sold for $17.99 per yard — not super cheap, but we challenge you to find quality fabric with patterns and colors like this for less.
