Your votes are in (thank you, readers) — and Jane is the winner of our The Hard Way Award – Bathrooms for 2015. This bathroom pretty much impossible not to love — not only for its delightful green and pink wall and trim tile, but because Jane designed the bathroom for her mother Jenifer. The bathroom is a mix of old and new: The wall tile is from B&W, the pink ceramic accessories are from World of Tile, and the sink, faucet and medicine cabinet are new. The bathroom looks like it could have been original to Jane’s 1939 home — what a lovely space — and well-deserved recognition! Congratulations, Jane!

Beautiful! Why not a link to post pics of things like this on Facebook? I find myself wanting to create a historical register or something to prevent works like this from ever being “updated” –

I do like this one– a lot. And I’m still wishing I had the money to make-over a bathroom like this.

I love this bathroom. Love the story behind it. Love the color. Love the change between green field tiles to pink field tiles in the shower. Love, love, love. 🙂

I love this bathroom, from the lively colors to the liner tile details to the emotions involved.
This year’s voting was particularly tough, with every finalist worthy of a prize.
