Rejuvenation Lighting offers porch lighting that could be a good fit for your retro renovation – whether it’s ultramodern or modern-with-that-colonial touch, as many 50s and 60s homes were. Above: The Otis Streamline Wall Sconce — available in 9 finishes.
Rejuvenation says about this sconce:
With raised horizontal lines across its glass shade, and a simple lighting design reduced to its bare essentials, the Otis characterizes the clean mid-century lighting style desired by a public that was eager to embrace new, modern design.
A popular porch light on classic postwar ranch homes and ramblers, the Otis is as appealing flanking an entrance as it is lighting a backyard deck.
Jane / MulchMaid says
Last year we added the left hand fixture (the Otis) to our 1956 front porch, in Rejuvenation’s aged bronze finish. It looks like it has always been there and we love it!
A plus, if you are energy conscious or like to leave your porch light on all night: It takes an outdoor-use compact fluorescent GU24 bulb (most compact fluorescents can’t be used outdoors, especially in cold weather.)
