    Hi Pam,

Have been loving your Website ever since you posted about Hillwood’s bathroom! Just wanted to let you know, for the first time, visitors to Hillwood are able finally to walk around Mrs. Post’s total mid-century modern kitchen. Why they weren’t able to before is beyond me, but now, thanks to our new executive director who recognized how much folks LOVE this kitchen, visitors can see up close what were once described as “up to the minute appliances,” like the Hobart standing mixers, a Globe Gravity-free Meat slicer, an Oster Touch-a-Matic combination can opener and juicer, and a 55-cup capacity West Bend coffee percolator — not to mention the enormous Sta-Cold freezer — a nod to Post’s frozen foods heritage — and the nine-burner Magic Chef stove. If you do get a chance to visit us, be sure to check it out. Enjoy!

    Lynn

Hi Pam, fabulous kitchen. I think we need to start naming OUR Mid Century Modest homes the way the big estates do.

Wow! That is a Fantastic Kitchen! I could leave SUCH a mess in this place!

John – Our ranch is named Lily. Get it…Lily pad! I guess we could call it the Lily Pad Ranch. We also name the cars. The Focus Wagon is named Frank and the Volvo Wagon is named Tinkerbell.
