Mid century modern table legs — cones and hairpin legs, both — from World of Tile

pam kueber - Updated: May 2, 2016

Retro Renovation stopped publishing in 2021; these stories remain for historical information, as potential continued resources, and for archival purposes.

new old stock mid century table legs from world of tileUpdate: World of Tile has now closed. I’ll leave this story up, for a while at least, to show some of the cool stuff they had.

If you are looking for authentic vintage mid century table legs — for a new project or as a replacement on your dinette, for example –you can get these from World of Tile, too. They stock a large variety of table legs — all authentic inventory spanning as far back as 1957.

authentic vintage hairpin table legsWorld of Tile also has hairpin table legs in a number of sizes and styles.

Oh MAN! I totally need those for our five-panel-door-turned-dining-room-table project!

Hi. Thanks for this great find. I have a small bookcase with the Danish style leg that ends in a metal cap that is like the wood ones with the gold end caps in the left upper corner of this photo. I’m missing one of the caps. Does anyone know what they are called and where I can find a replacement cap? Thanks!

I have the same problem, just bought a Danish-modern knock-off coffee table that’s missing a gold color, perhaps brass, cap on one of the leg ends. Did anyone reply to you or did you find that this co. found you the one you needed?

      Thanks!

Would they opposed to some of us just moving in there? I promise to dust every night.
