How to make a wreath using vintage Christmas tree ornaments — Suzy’s instructions
I bet we’ll get a lot of entries for this one — and there can only be one winner. So, the idea behind posting this giveaway right now is to remind you creative types to think ahead … make sure you’re collecting a whole bunch of vintage ornies … and gear up to make one of these yourself maybe. I know that in a lot of thrift stores across America, they start pulling out all the vintage ornaments for sale pretty soon. Or, maybe you’ve been collecting them all summer? That said, I know a lot of us *think* we’ll do a project… but never do… so keep an eye on Suzy’s blog because she keeps making wreaths all fall… she posts them for sale… and they sell out fast!

I ADORE your blog. Until I found it, I thought I was the only one obsessed with pink bathrooms! Sure would like to win this wreath, ’cause I live in a “proper high falutin” neighborhood, i.e., I’m the only one who puts up colored Christmas lights. Pam, your blog inspired us to buy and restore our 1956 California Ranch. Naturally, when we saw Suzy’s wreaths featured we had to create one for our first Christmas in the home. We love the holidays and appreciate that you are bringing another beautiful wreath to our day.

I cherish the ’67 ornaments that I got from my parents (brought their first Christmas in Canada). For years and years I have loved putting them on the tree and last year I asked my mom to earmark them for me for “when the time comes…” . Much to my surprise they arrived at my house in January once their tree came down for the year. I can’t wait to display them in my home this year- but not on the tree as they are too few, too precious, and have too much sentimental value to risk breaking.
I’ll be keeping my eye out for other vintage/vintage inspired ornaments to re-create a wreath like this.

Vintage ornaments are my Christmas passion! They are the only type of ornament allowed to adorn my silver with blue vintage Pom-Pom Christmas tree. Would LOVE to have this wreath!
