How to make a wreath using vintage Christmas tree ornaments — Suzy’s instructions
I bet we’ll get a lot of entries for this one — and there can only be one winner. So, the idea behind posting this giveaway right now is to remind you creative types to think ahead … make sure you’re collecting a whole bunch of vintage ornies … and gear up to make one of these yourself maybe. I know that in a lot of thrift stores across America, they start pulling out all the vintage ornaments for sale pretty soon. Or, maybe you’ve been collecting them all summer? That said, I know a lot of us *think* we’ll do a project… but never do… so keep an eye on Suzy’s blog because she keeps making wreaths all fall… she posts them for sale… and they sell out fast!

I love that. It reminds me of the aluminum tree my dad had in his office window right on the corner downtown. It kills me that I don’t know what happened to it; I was too young to be aware of it’s demise. Now I’m on the search for one of my own. If I don’t win I’ll be inspired to make my own. My mom decorates her christmas tree with nothing but glass ornaments – it used to be mostly vintage, but over the years many bit the dust and have been replaced with similar-style newer balls. But it’s a gorgeous sight! This wreath would be gorgeous on her front door, as a segue to her tree! <3 <3
