How to make a wreath using vintage Christmas tree ornaments — Suzy’s instructions
I bet we’ll get a lot of entries for this one — and there can only be one winner. So, the idea behind posting this giveaway right now is to remind you creative types to think ahead … make sure you’re collecting a whole bunch of vintage ornies … and gear up to make one of these yourself maybe. I know that in a lot of thrift stores across America, they start pulling out all the vintage ornaments for sale pretty soon. Or, maybe you’ve been collecting them all summer? That said, I know a lot of us *think* we’ll do a project… but never do… so keep an eye on Suzy’s blog because she keeps making wreaths all fall… she posts them for sale… and they sell out fast!

I first saw one of these vintage wreaths at Salvage Chic Antiques in Pembroke Massachusetts and have wanted one ever since. I then saw Georgia Peachez site and wanted even more but I laughed because there was a young girl in our neighborhood whose mom would always call her Georgia Peaches which I thought was an adorable pet name, come to find out it was her real name …

All year I have been thrifting vintage Christmas decor and looking forward to seeing what the season brings at RR. I so enjoyed seeing everyone’s creative decorations last year!

I love Georgia Peachez! When I first read about Suzy on RR I began my search for vintage Shiney Brite ornaments. 2 years later I have quite the collection and was going to make a wreath (since she gave us such great instructions). If I win the wreath, I can keep them for my Christmas tree!

Suzy has outdone herself again! Her wreaths are works of art. I think I’d probably just keep this beauty up all year round so I could enjoy it for 12 months instead of only 1!
