How to make a wreath using vintage Christmas tree ornaments — Suzy’s instructions
I bet we’ll get a lot of entries for this one — and there can only be one winner. So, the idea behind posting this giveaway right now is to remind you creative types to think ahead … make sure you’re collecting a whole bunch of vintage ornies … and gear up to make one of these yourself maybe. I know that in a lot of thrift stores across America, they start pulling out all the vintage ornaments for sale pretty soon. Or, maybe you’ve been collecting them all summer? That said, I know a lot of us *think* we’ll do a project… but never do… so keep an eye on Suzy’s blog because she keeps making wreaths all fall… she posts them for sale… and they sell out fast!

When I see that wreath, I can just SMELL Christmas at my grandparent’s house…smoke and gravy and that hard-to-describe mid-century smell. It would go so nicely with my aluminum tree…also a grandparent memory.

I love it! My grandma made a Christmas tree in a picture frame out of vintage jewelry. It even lit up with Christmas lights.
